Sonny Bono and NFL player Steve Largent were pretty good congressmen.

Steven Seagal beat the living daylights out of his wife, Kelly Lebrock when they were married, didn’t he? He might represent democrat values, but I don’t think for a moment this gets him elected in the great state of Arizona.

Well, for a wife beater, he does seem right at home in the desert...

The answer is "Kelly Lebrock"

The question is "What does Steven Seagal use for a punching bag?"

Another Ah-Nuld! waiting to happen, or a chance at securing the border with a big middle finger to the Obama admin?

So the Democrats want to run that "American Idol" guy in North Carolina, and the Republicans want to run an action star in Arizona. Hollywood on the Potomac.

Didn’t he log some hours with a sheriff’s dept. a couple of years back?

For a TV show, yeah.

The man has some skills when it comes to self defense. What I have heard since I posted that, jerk doesn’t half cover it. Other than Kim Karwhatever I don’t keep up with very many cel. am partial to Palin though. Now I hear he is a wife beater or girlfriend beater makes it hard to defend. Was drugging or drinking when this supposedly occurred? You see I am not a fan of movie actors except for a very few of the older ones most that I admired have since passed away. So cast your stones appears I deserve them. He is a lousy actor but very few aren’t anymore. I like Hepburn, George C. Scott, Wayne, Bacall, Bogie, Peck, Sean Connery, Hopkins, Finney, Duvall, Caine, Nicholson, Henry Fonda, Gary Cooper,Harry Dean Stanton, Sally fields, Winfrey in the Color Purple though her politics suck, also Ford and Washington, Ned Beatty, Clint Eastwood, most of these folks are dead now and I see little to admire in the current couple of crops now. Wayne’s best two movies were IMHO, The Quiet Man and The Searchers. Also Newman. It is to early to talk this stuff and I have a roast to check.

Take it from a former Californian: Never vote for an actor of the “action hero” type. Stick to guys who have co-started with a chimpanzee.

Didn’t Bono ski into a tree? And look at what he allowed his offspring to become. I guess maybe I’ll have to separate his politics from his dismal performance as a father. Have a good day.

Run for governor?

It will never happen....although you never know.

Seagal is 61, an action actor in B-rated movies. He's the son of an Irish mother and a Jewish father. He was born in Lansing, Michigan. He claims a Mongolian grandfather. He's been married four times, current wife is Mongolian. He proclaims himself a Buddhist.

He has fathered seven children, a couple of whom were out of wedlock. He married his second wife before being legally divorced from the first.

He's been the subject of numerous sexual harrassment charges as well as a variety of other accusations including battery.......some of which were settled out of court for $$$'s and others dismissed for one reason or another.

His years of seemingly never-ending legal problems can be found on internet biographies, including Wiki.

There's a video floating around of him conducting a tour of his Arizona desert estate. His face looks so frozen (botox?) it's virtually expressionless....like one of those inscrutable little cement buddha statues one sees in grandma's garden.

This guy has been around the pike.....and his morals background would certainly be an issue if he were to run for governor.

I doubt if any of the powers-that-be in any of Arizona's political parties would want him to head their respective tickets.....but then, maybe the Dems would embrace him, since they are very open-minded about guys like Seagal.......

He is the baddest fat guy you would ever have the misfortune to meet and if you do I would advise strongly against calling him that. Just a FRiendly piece of advice.

His skills are for real. You have to be one arrogant gaijin to open a dojo in Japan...you also have to be able to back it up, 365 days a year.

His politics, he doesn't follow politics...maybe he thinks politics follow him, *g*
