Muslim worshippers dont just have more freedom to pray on the Temple Mount, a recent investigation reveals: they apparently also have permission to drill.
An investigation Monday by Yehuda Glick, Director of the Haliba organization for Jewish freedom on the Temple Mount, caught Waqf officials red-handed in the act of drilling through the ancient stones.
Vandalizing the MountJudaisms holiest site and a national landmark for people of all religionsviolates the law; when caught in the act on film, the perpetrators quickly tried to conceal their actions.

Islam has only been around since about 600 AD or so.
There had been 2 temples there on the mount, no mosques.
It is Islamic practice to erect mosques on top of Jewish or Christian sites as a sign of conquest. Nothing less. That is all that mosque is.
It is ONLY significant to them as a way to prevent the Jews from rebuilding the temple.
That is all.
622, but who's countig. Anyway 622 is a long time ago. In 622 AD, for example, what is now England was still overwhelmingly pagan.
Anyway, the Muslims didn't build on top of the Temple directly, they built on top of a Christian church (which was ruined at the time) which had been built on top of a Roman Temple to Jupiter which was built on top of the Jewish Temples.
It is ONLY significant to them as a way to prevent the Jews from rebuilding the temple.
I'm as pro-Israel as anyone, but that makes no sense. Muslims didn't fight the Crusaders for Jerusalem and the Temple Mount because they were worried that the Crusaders would rebuild the Temple.
Is there any reason to “drill” on the Mount except vandalism?
None besides that, FWICS.
The Waqf are openly hostile to the notion of Jews having any connection to the Temple Mount, especially spiritually.
This is the piece the media and liberals are very quiet about. When Obama and Kerry demand Israel negotiate from the 1967 border, they leave out the piece that the Wailing Wall is on the other side of that border - and the Jordanians did NOT give Jews access.
Nope.
Sounds to me like you’d be more at home with a Muslim community.
Huh?
