andra Bullock reigned supreme at the 40th annual People's Choice Awards, taking home four trophies as the evening's top winner.

The actress was named favorite movie actress, comedic actress, dramatic actress and shared the favorite movie duo award with "Gravity" co-star George Clooney. Bullock's buddy comedy, "The Heat," co-starring Melissa McCarthy, was awarded favorite comedic movie.

Fans deemed Ellen DeGeneres their favorite daytime TV host, making her the woman who has gained the most People's Choice Awards with a total of 14 trophies.

"As a young girl growing up in New Orleans, if anyone would have told me I was going to win 14 People's Choice Awards I...I mean 12, yes. 13, maybe. But 14?" joked DeGeneres, host of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," who said that she wanted to make the show for everyone from old, young, black, white, guy and straight.

There was a time I thought Ellen was funny; like Jodie Foster, we knew she chose to act upon her sinful nature sexually...but she KEPT IT TO HERSELF and wasn't political.

Ellen changed her behavior in 2008....and went full throttle liberal. So we NO longer watch her.

I don’t even know what’s on network TV anymore. I gave it up decades ago and especially with digital cable,.

Part of the problem in this country is otherwise good people give their viewing time to degenerates.

One of the first disagreements my wife and I had were over the Ellen show (her sitcom, not the talk show). My wife loved it and I told her: You are a follower of Christ. By watching her you are tacitly approving her behavior. Same thing with my mother-in-law and Will and Grace.

One day America's Christians will have to make a stand for holiness. I suspect at that time the herd will be self-culled tremendously.

The only thing I've seen Sandra Bullock in was “The Net” a few years back. Not a great film by any means but she sure is cute.As for Ellen Degenerate....ugly,and talentless,on the outside *and* on the inside!

To my eye Sandra Bullock is aging very well, she’s quite attractive. She seems to be an above average actress to boot. As for Ellen, Ellen who? Never watch her, can’t think of anything I’ve seen her in. Guess that means if I have then she was and is utterly forgettable. I just know the name ‘cause it crops up in the news every once in a while.

For many years now, the only TV I have watched is when I go to bed at night, I will turn on HGTV or something like Pickers and Pawn Stars.

Other than series like Downton Abbey, Bratich, and Foyle’s War, I don’t watch tv.

Ellen is very funny and sincere. She drove me crazy when she came out and made it a point to let it be known during the last year of her sit-com.

The thing I find most interesting is that she is very popular among teenage boys. I teach at an all boys Catholic high school and they all love her show. I will have to admit she is funny and does some pretty silly things, but has a heart of gold. She is not so out there, in your face anymore.

Who ever said Sandra is aging quite well, I have to 1000% agree. I can watch any movie she does - even the chick flicks.

I love Sandra Bullock big time and glad that she is recognized. Ellen’s show is very funny at times, but I feel she is repetitive much of the time. I watch the show approx. 20 times a year and each show is pretty much the same. That is one problem with keeping a show clean. It can get boring.

Meaningless salutations from brainless drones. “Awards” that are forgotten before the trophy even hits the shelf.

Epic yawn.

I wonder why they don’t have awards for best reality show and all the break downs for reality show actor, actress etc??

These arrogant Hollywood snobs despise being clobbered in the ratings by simpleton reality shows. But according to the ratings and advertising $$, people choose reality shows Duck Dynasty in particular.

Then you HAVE to see “The Blind Side”

Sandra Bullock plays a conservative...and is shown in a very positive point of view. Great movie.

I know someone who was a neighbor with Bullock when she lived in Huntington Harbor a few years ago. Not only did she state that Bullock was very nice but also went to a local high kill animal impound center and adopted a couple of dogs, without fanfare.

Nothing unusual. Liberals and Rinos play conservative during every election season.

Actually, Bullock has kept very quiet on politics, which for the Hollywood crowd usually means that you at least have some conservative ideas. Also, her charitable giving has been to groups like the Red Cross or other disaster relief groups.

Oh yes, and I'll offer one more piece of evidence to suggest that she's one of us - SHE'S HOT!
