JERUSALEM (AP) Hospital: Ex-Israeli PM Ariel Sharon's health has deteriorated further; in 'grave' condition.

Sounds like it won’t be long now. This is a new update from the last one 3 days ago.
I would imagine he’s just got a day or two left, at most.
By the way, for anyone curious on the Ariel Sharon/Kaduri backstory...
The left is going to get uglier than normal when he eventually dies.
As they usually do.
They are a vicious, ugly, hateful bunch.
There are Christians who believe when Sharon dies, that will start the end times - the tribulation.
I am interested in this theory.
Why would God make Sharons death the catalyst for that?
I don’t know.
“I am interested in this theory.”
There is a Christian website that has had this opinion for years. I’ve bookmarked that site and will find it and post the link for you - I would bet that is one of the main conservations right now.
Yes, they are talking about it. They think when he dies, Jesus will come in the Rapture and remove Christians. Look down the list of today’s articles. This link takes you to today’s writings.
My guess is that 0 won’t be going to the funeral.
Date-setters always fail. The premise behind this nonsense is that Sharon “was the last right-wing statesman capable of bringing peace to Israel.”
Never mind the fact that he’s been in a permanent vegetative state for eight years.
Seems to me whenever Benjamin Netanyahu is PM, Israel is at peace. But it really doesn’t matter, becuase God’s timetable for concluding world history as we know it isn’t dependent on Ariel Sharon or Bibi.
A possible trigger for the rapture/tribulation/end times period is how Israel deals with Iran’s nuclear ambitions, and if the outcome leads to the events prophesied in Ezekiel 38-39. But none of us know the future...and it is possible such events, however they’re triggered, are still many years away.
Does anyone else think the title is worded just a bit strange. Or not.
“My guess is that 0 wont be going to the funeral.”
My bet is he will ask Hillary to go as America’s representative.
No disrespect to the people of Israel, but I for one, do not believe that theory that Sharon’s death will be the spark that starts world altering events. Were this the case, we would have seen more indications. Sharon has been functionally without life for years now, and the routine border bickering continues, unabated. Israel has lived under a heavy and real threat of destruction for decades. It’s not surprising that they would cling to omens of portent for security and reassurance. I don’t see how they even get through each day, be literally surrounded by muslim countries that despise them.
I think you're right. However, Bill and Hillary will be there for the photo-op.
Prayers for Ariel Sharon.
Agree with you. Prayers for him and his family.
What do you mean?
Prayers that YESHUA his Jewish Messiah has revealed himself to him.
With all due respect, please speak for yourself. You know very well that real Jews do not believe in JC, or even believe in the concept that they need an intermediary "savior" between themselves and G-d. We depend on G-d's grace ALONE, and have firmly believed for the roughly 3,800 years since Abraham lived that each of us can have a personal dialog with Him. It is frankly insulting that you should make this comment at such a time for one of the greatest Jewish heroes of the past century, and his family.
I respect everyone's right to believe as they wish, but I don't push my views on others - no matter how well-intentioned I might be...because that is often taken as being rude and presumptuous.
Unless Ariel Sharon's death causes his spirit - the original spirit that was the long-time champion and defender of Am Yisroel - to jump over to Benjamin Netanyahu. Because, after all, it's going to take a miracle from Hashem to instill BN with wisdom and faith to finally tell the "leader of the free world" and rest of the world and nations to FOAD.
Now *that's* the kind of "Forward!" that makes progress.
I just found using the word *grave* strange. Probably just me.
Doctors said 9 days ago he had 4 days to live at most.
How many times are they going to report he is in “worse condition” but still alive?
Interesting; I know that many believe that this is the generation that is specially equipped to face the end times due to the technology we have (the ability to see the martyrdom of the Two Witnesses broadcast around the world for the entire world to watch) and believe that the establishment of the nation of Israel was when the clock started the countdown. Quite a few generations are supposed to pass after the establishment.
You know, there’s a definite timetable of events and this is going to get very interesting. Too many unreal things have happened and I believe we’re at our very epoch of existence and beginning an entirely new era.
Will O order our flags lowered?
Prayers up for the family.
It’s not easy to predict the exact time of death.
Never! I will never aplogize for preaching the Gospel!
Again, I respect your right to believe as you wish. However, you referred to a certain very distant cousin of mine and Ariel Sharon as “his Jewish Messiah” - when, in fact, there is no evidence whatsoever that Sharon recognized any person who has ever lived as his messiah. As I mentioned earlier, Jews do not believe that JC was, is or will be the Messiah, and it is insulting to attribute such belief to anyone, let alone one of the biggest Jewish heroes of the past century (and, I might add, UNABASHEDLY Jewish, even if not very observant). Of course, you did not need me to tell you these things - you knew them before you typed your initial post.
You’re entitled to your opinion and beliefs, but intentionally insulting people does cross some lines. I ask you to stop doing so, and to recognize that doing so is wrong - I am NOT asking you to give up your beliefs.
