Tea Party Leadership Fund to Recruit Boehner Primary Challenger
breitbart.com ^ | 1/10/14 | Matthew Boyle

The Tea Party Leadership Fund will announce on Friday an effort it plans to undertake to search for a candidate to primary House Speaker John Boehner, Breitbart News has learned exclusively.

The group is funding a $25,000 ad campaign against Boehner and a petition drive at PrimaryBoehner.com with a goal of collecting 1 million signatures by Jan. 31. Radio’s Rusty Humphries, a spokesman for the Tea Party Leadership Fund, is leading the group’s effort to find a candidate.

“John Boehner has declared war on conservatives demanding lower taxes and limited government,” Humphries said in a statement provided exclusively to Breitbart News. “Today we declare war on him. We intend to send a message to his fellow 'Republicans In Name Only' that such ideologically bankrupt leadership must come to an end.”

The group’s release states it has polling that shows at least half of Republicans in Boehner’s Ohio district are willing to support a GOP candidate who is more conservative than the Speaker.

If the effort hopes to be successful, the group will have to move fast. The filing deadline for a candidate to enter the race to run against Boehner in the Ohio GOP primary is 4 p.m. on Feb. 5. The primary is on May 6.

In the release provided to Breitbart News, Humphries provides a list of things that the Tea Party Leadership Fund is prepared to do in its search for a Boehner primary candidate. He said the group will be “interviewing and vetting potential candidates to assure that we endorse the most qualified, most conservative and most viable candidate that will truly make John Boehner ‘feel the heat.’”

I hope they can pull it off! Maybe they should throw the money at McConnell considering they are running out of time.

If they have to pay for a search, my gut tells me there isn’t anyone willing to step up to the plate. At least not yet..

Boehner has a primary challenger.

Support Eric Gurr to oust John Boehner in OH-8

Also, press your Representative to NOT support Boehner for Speaker - or Ryan, either!

Any idea where Rusty has been? Hasn’t been on the air for quite some time. Getting a little tired of his replacement, Butler, I believe?

I think they should support several challengers to Boehner, for several reasons.

1) Boehner will have substantial resources available to him. So the more he can be forced to spend them in the “pre-primary”, fighting several opponents, the better chance his eventual opponent will have.

2) Multiple opponents create the impression that Boehner is weak and vulnerable. This is helped by his being attacked from several different directions at once.

3) Multiple opponents can cover more actual ground talking to people, forcing Boehner to commit assets to shore up his base.

4) Some of the opponents can be serious and legitimate, and others can use unconventional campaigning against him, like on the Internet, making sport of him. Such attacks can really leave a mark, so should not be underestimated.

5) Tacit agreement ahead of time for say, three of the top four to cede to the leader and publicly throw their support to him.

The Obama Administration Culture is based on lies, persecution of political opponents, and violating the US Constitution.

Under the leadership of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and Speaker of the House John Boehner, the GOP Establishment Congressional Culture is based on becoming more like the Obama Administration Culture.

By design, the GOP Establishment has become a doormat speed bump for Obamacrat politicians on the very wide, and well lighted Highway to European Socialism.

Without the capable cave-in expertise of McConnell and Boehner, the successful fundamental transformation of America into a weak, financially devastated, morally corrupt, unreliable, former World Power would not have been possible.

To those US Senators and House members who still support McConnell and Boehner, remember Einstein’s definition of insanity:

“INSANITY IS DOING THE SAME THING OVER AND OVER AGAIN AND EXPECTING DIFFERENT RESULTS.”

Not trying to be a Nattering Nabob of Negativism... it's just that an online presence rarely works to your advantage. I try to catch myself at times (There is a reason "Loose lips sink ships" is highlighted just below to the post button)... Anyway... I admire you for running (more Freepers should... starting with Local School Board positions and working upwards from there) and I support your candidacy.

Also did you read that list of things to do when running I linked you on that thread where you showed us your youtube?
