Congress is effectively saying that serving for Duty, Honor, Country is now a one way, dead end street. Who knew that Jon Kerry was so prophetic?

I am one of those retired Veterans. If they need some of my COLA to save our country, then they should say so. The reality is, they aren’t saying that. The “compromise” that was made was to take money from the retired Veterans and put that money in HEADSTART and the Department of Education. The money taken from retired Veterans who sacrificed, suffered and risked for their country will not reduce anyone’s taxes. This money will not be used to reduce the debt. It will not be used to balance the budget. THE MONEY TAKEN FROM THE RETIRED VETERANS WILL BE USED TO BUY DEMOCRAT VOTES. That’s it. That was the compromise. Some people who used to wear uniforms are being paid to argue against the retired Veterans, but they are just whores, and if you pay a whore enough, they’ll do anything.

I’m sure no cuts have been made to the EBT programs.

Loss of confidence in the U.S. government’s word: sorry but the line is laughable but not what is happened to the retired military personnel.

Goodness, are you saying that Mitt Romney’s running-mate is deliberately buying Democrat support or is too dumb to know what he is doing?
