I read his book - it was poorly written and he included garbage that was nothing near scandalous, but the press who hated Reagan ate it up. I mean really stupid stuff, like Reagan reading from 3" x 5" cards for hints during speeches, or a quote that Speakes attributed to Reagan was actually made up by a speech writer.
Wow - such horrible scandal! (sarcasm). Compare that to Barry and Moochelle - it was akin to Saints vs. Demons running the nation.
Speakes sold his soul out quickly for a little ca$h and to get accolades from the liberal press that he desperately wanted love and approval from.
