The BBC has spent tens of thousands of pounds over six years trying to keep secret an extraordinary ‘eco’ conference which has shaped its coverage of global warming, The Mail on Sunday can reveal.

The controversial seminar was run by a body set up by the BBC’s own environment analyst Roger Harrabin and funded via a £67,000 grant from the then Labour government, which hoped to see its ‘line’ on climate change and other Third World issues promoted in BBC reporting.

At the event, in 2006, green activists and scientists – one of whom believes climate change is a bigger danger than global nuclear war – lectured 28 of the Corporation’s most senior executives.

Strange, I didn't see this in the New York Times. I wonder if our tax dollars are also being spent this way, or if the networks are footing the bills as a "civic responsibility"?

Remember that big eco conference out in the Pacific from around 2008/2009 era...where the local airport on the isle couldn’t handle anyone parking their aircraft there for more than an hour? All of the big four and five star hotels on the isle were utilized for this conference. Had to cost at least $5k a person to come and stay for the whole week of meetings.

When it occurred....I kept wondering who paid for the private jets, the fancy dinners, the booze, and the $500 a night hotel rooms at the nicer hotels.

OK!! Everybody pay attention!

Lesson for today:

1. The sun is 1,300,000 times as big as the earth.

2. The sun is a ball of fire that controls the climates of all its planets.

3. The earth is one of the sun’s planets.

4. The earth is a speck in comparison to the size of the sun.

5. Inhabitants of the earth are less than specks.

Study Question: How do less-than-specks in congress plan to control the sun?

There has certainly been a propaganda movement of massive dimensions fueling the climate change debate. Governments have been spending billions to support universities, government agencies, and so called scientists who know that if they want the money to continue to flow, they had better produce research that supports what the policy makers want.

What caught my interest here was the government paying to instruct the media on their point of view so that they would be more effective selling the government’s policy. We all know that the media have been voluntarily carrying their water, now we know that they are getting paid to do it as well.

"This was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow, and our planet began to heal.

Welcome King Barack "Canute" Obama the Great.....

...Obama issues an Executive Order to the Sun...

....to increase it's magnetic field....

and make a good crop of sunspots before elections in 2016....

(PhysOrg.com) -- Sunspot formation is triggered by a magnetic field, which scientists say is steadily declining. They predict that by 2016 there may be no remaining sunspots, and the sun may stay spotless for several decades.

The last time the sunspots disappeared altogether was in the 17th and 18th century, and coincided with a lengthy cool period on the planet known as the Little Ice Age....and lasted 400 years.

Good luck surviving with no electricity and GE modified seeds.

‘How do you plan and run a city that is going to be submerged?’

That's NOT the question - the one that matters is "How will we run a city taken over by wild unicorns?" The question of the century...

Luckily for city mayors, conservatives are working on the Unicorn problem - and given enough money we can stop the problem from ever happening. Yep, Right Here in River City...
