Just another bullet in the chamber of the gun on the gop-e war against women. :>) As opposed to the demokkkrat war against babies.

This report is the start of the Hillarycampaign. She’s been singing this tune for the past week. “Women’s rights being eroded, etc.”

Women who choose divorce over trying to improve their marriages are at the greatest risk, not just women in general.

It’s a lifestyle choice.

The key findings paint a portrait of an estimated 42 million women — and 28 million dependent children — saddled with financial hardship.

Humm...not a word in the article about the fathers of these 28 million children...

I guess NBC news think all these kids were from immaculate conception...

The report, co-authored by NBC News special anchor Maria Shriver and the Center for American Progress, takes a wide-angle snapshot of a national economic crisis — seen through the eyes of women.

World ends, etc.

So. NBC’s [ass]Crack Team of investigating journalists and researchers in conjunction with the never-even-close-poor Maria Shriver say ‘young women, and some with children’ are a risk of being ‘near’ poverty.

Had they investigated, they would have found that a sloth, properly educated in the ways of government entitlement can reap a disposable income equal to that of a real working man with family making $40K+ per year.

In truth, this is 2014 Democrat fodder for November’s elections, and what they’re really pissing and moaning about is recent cuts in the BLOATED SNAP payments, and in NOT increasing the UIC from 99 weeks to 99 weeks plus another 3, then 6, then 9 and then a decade more.

Get married. Stay married. That’s typically a recipe for success, although it’s politically incorrect to say there’s anything wrong about having children out of wedlock (or getting divorced). BTW, I’m not saying divorce isn’t sometimes justified. Even Christ permitted it in cases of adultery, but I am claiming that divorce and out of wedlock births are both social ills that help increase poverty.

Hey, I’ve heard over and over that women don’t need men and now 80% of divorces are initiated by women. If they are having problems they should ask their local lesbian women’s studies professor for help.

A study with truthful results would indicate that both men and women prosper best within the traditional family. The left has done its best to ensure that Americans are as unprepared and unqualified as humanly possible to participate in such a model.

Before a woman gets married she needs to live a life that will attract a decent man.

I divorced first husband (and was Catholic) due to him being a wife - beater, beat me when I was 7mos pregnant with our son..which resulted from him raping me after he beat me. I do pray the Lord finds this a justifiable reason to divorce.

Shriver is on Meet the Press now, in my time zone.

The poverty is being blamed on education and minimum wage.

Shriver mentions 40% of women head the household of one or more children, but skips over the breakdown of the family, and moral decline.

Decades of socialist public education, now Common Core, gets a pass in her report.

It’s difficult to live an honorable life in this day and age. Popular culture, the education establishment, government, and even many women (feminists) are all arrayed against a woman who wants to live in a way that would attract a decent man. Nevertheless, what you said is true, and women who try to live honorably will generally reap the rewards. Oftentimes, it’s the very people who have made wrecks of their lives who want to encourage others to do the same. Immoral people do NOT have the interests of others in mind when they try to influence others to live lives of sin.

Christ’s blood covers all sin. Divorce is sin. God hates divorce. Nevertheless, anything can be forgiven if one truly repents.

Any mention of the ethnicity of these women? When you have a child out of wedlock at age 16, quit school and go on welfare things are going to be tough for you. That’s why the democrats are always doing everything they can to support traditional marriage.
