Lord God,

You are our rock, and You are the saving strength of Your anointed. Blessed are You, Lord, because You have heard the voice of our supplications. Your voice is powerful and full of majesty. You give strength unto Your people; You bless Your people with peace.

Father, into Your hands we commit the care of the military men and women who serve this nation. Thank You for being their rock and fortress, and for leading and guiding them. Pull them out of any nets that have been set to ensnare them. Rescue those who are in any kind of danger, and be the tower of strength for those whose trust is in You.

Lord, how we seek Your blessings for Your beloved Israel. Be with them as they mourn the death of Ariel Sharon. Bring peace to their homeland as You call for the return of Your chosen people to the land set apart for them. Father, we know that in these latter days, You are calling Your people to unity so that Christ’s return may take place. Father, so much is to be done before that day, and yet we do not know the day or the hour. Help us to understand the urgency that accompanies each new day as the time runs short for repentance and salvation. Make us laborers in Your fields of souls. The time is now; today is the day of salvation. Make haste to help us, O Lord. In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
