The ‘essence’ about these people is this. One of them is on fairly expensive antiHIV medication. That’s been his reason for keeping stable and profitable employment. Obamacare has freed him from all that and now WE get to pay for his antiHIV medication. While HE gets to enjoy a nice midlife crisis ‘adventure’ with his ‘partner’.

What’s even more important is that for all the storm and fury about legalizing gay marriage they don’t seem to be willing to get married so he can just get on his ‘partner’s’ plan. Nope, making the rest of us pay is the whole point.

If the service provider is private and the relationship between him and his customer is highly regulated and government controlled, it is fascism.

If the service provider IS the government, it is socialism.

ZeroCare is a textbook case of fascism. Single payer is a textbook case of socialism.

“Gee, the poor little fags are upset because the joint cost of drugs and medical insurance is going to cost him 600 a month.”

IF, when this all shakes out, they actually get off that light. And I wonder what their deductible is. (I skipped around a lot of the whiney parts so if it mentioned it, I missed it.)

“You could beat these people to death with a hammer, and they’d still support him.”

Well put.

They still believe it should have worked and still could work if only...

If only...

Yeah, right.

Such ignorance and blind faith is so appallingly hard to believe.

But there it is, staring right back in our faces.

.... Nope, making the rest of us pay is the whole point.

Be that as it may, this is a SMALL percentage of the American population - the WHOLE POINT (and reason I posted this tome) is that if this educated, highly motivated and eventually not-to-be-thwarted Obamanoid who knows who to contact to get information has this much trouble, the average American is up the creek and looking for someone to blame.

Thanks for the well aimed “humor.”

Thanks for posting this. I've learned something. But it's very hard to make sense of.

Good thing you don’t deal in facts. Those can be confusing.

Have a nice day.

And here we find one of the main constituencies for Obamacare: homosexuals who want their expensive AIDS treatments and medications covered by the rest of us.

Here we also find the reason for demanding gay marriage: so that an HIV+ man can "marry" a man with a good employer-provided health plan, and thus be covered.

The WHOLE POINT is to gin up support for single payer.

This is nothing but a screed against the insurance companies.

Which is completely on target for the talking points right now.

The sneaky admission that MEDICAID would have been a better choice for his ‘partner’ was the underlying reason for the whole screed.

Those evil insurance companies will never be able to compete with medicaid. How can you compete with FREE?

Next step, medicaid for all...

Walmart has some prescription drugs for $4. Steve and Miles may not know about this.

Anyway, Steve, if you want to complain about our criminal president and do it right,

you need one of these.

HE (Obama) could personally beat them to death with a hammer and they'd still support him - their dying question would be" I wonder what I did to make him so angry".

If you’d read the entire “screed” for content you would have noticed Obamacare took a lot of hits too. He could not avoid the obvious.

Of course ‘obamacare’ took a lot of hits. It was supposed to. It will be burned and ditched by the side of the road before it’s over with.

Obamacare wasn’t the end, it was the means to the end. Single payer.

Obamacare was the tool they will use to absolutely torch the private insurance industry. Once they’re gone we’ll have no choice but single payer.

But if there is a chance to turn this “herd” we need to have a lot of pissed off voters.

Bingo.

And the system they were trying to navigate - upscale and motivated as they were - will never work.

Because it can’t.

Obamacare has broken the system we had of making such private sector decisions work. It was a complex system but it was not directed from “on high” and it muddled through sometimes but it worked.

Like Levin and others have said, in using a simple pencil as example, if the federal gov’t were put in charge of pencils from beginning to end, what has worked with the making and distribution of pencils would totally break down.

So if the feds cannot handle a system for pencils, how does any sane person expect them to do THIS!?

And CW, your point is about the people trying to navigate this.

Either way, IT IS AN IMPOSSIBILITY.
