If Scott Brown were running now for Senate in New Hampshire, he’d trail incumbent Democratic Sen. Jeanne Shaheen by just 3 points, according to new numbers out Wednesday.
The poll, from the Democratic firm Public Policy Polling, found Shaheen with 46 percent of the vote, compared with 43 percent for Brown, the former Massachusetts senator who has yet to declare his candidacy in the New Hampshire race. Shaheen’s approval and disapproval ratings are almost even in the poll: 44 percent approve, 43 percent disapprove and 13 percent said they aren’t sure. New Hampshire voters have a more negative view of Brown: 40 percent view him unfavorably, compared with 34 percent who view him favorably. Just a quarter of the state’s residents didn’t have an opinion of him.
Brown, who was defeated by now-Sen. Elizabeth Warren in the 2012 election, has long been flirting with switching states and running against Shaheen. A trip to a New Hampshire GOP fundraiser in Nashua last month further fueled speculation that Brown is serious about a bid.
The poll comes after a round of ad buys from outside groups in both parties: The conservative Americans for Prosperity and Ending Spending have both gone up with ads criticizing Shaheen, while the pro-Democratic Senate Majority PAC spent $150,000 last week on an ad hitting Brown.
Shaheen does better against the other, lesser-known GOP candidates, leading all of them by double digits. She leads former state Sen. Jim Rubens by 16 points (49 percent to 33 percent), former U.S. Sen. Bob Smith by 14 points (48 percent to 32 percent) and conservative activist Karen Testerman by 17 points (47 percent to 30 percent).

No data to breakdown that 40% between those that hate him from the communist hard left of MA-leakage versus the opposite end of the political spectrum - the Center (patriots/tea-party/constitutional-conservatives) for being RINO.
NH used to be a deeply Conservative state that was ruined when Massholes moved up to escape their own state’s high taxes but didn’t leave their leftwing ideologies at the border. The fact that they would even consider a turd like Scott Brown shows how low the state has sunk.

Im wondering who is better on amnesty out of Bob Smith and Scott Brown.
Brown gave positive coverage to Rubio but that was part of his job at Fox.
Brown voted no on the Dream Act in 2010 but is open to reforming the immigration system. That doesn’t worry me too much because Reid and Schumer make is obvious from the start their goal is to register Democrat voters ASAP. Even if someone is a wimp on the issue like Dan Coats, Ron Johnson or Pat Toomey they end up voting no on a ridiculous gang style bill.
Bob Smith and Brown were not around during McCain and Kennedy’s immigration bills were floated.
It also says a lot about the leadership of the NH Republican Party. Ayotte is as bad as McCain and a backstabber to Cruz. She campaigned as a conservative. The fact that they'd run an out of state Republican who's as bad as Ayotte says one thing...they're not interested in anything conservative. Surely there's an old-school NH Republican who would win NH with next to no effort.

The GOPe is picking insider Ed Gillespie as their VA candidate with a poll showing him six points behind the Dem.
Gillespie told El Rushbo on his show back when Gillespie worked for W Bush “that’s not going to happen” when Rush asked about cutting departments like “Energy” in the federal government.
