More Americans Worse Off Financially Than a Year Ago
Gallup ^ | January 15, 2014 | Andrew Dugan

Posted on 01/15/2014 5:00:41 PM PST by Hojczyk

Bottom Line

Despite a sustained, if sluggish, economic recovery that has lasted nearly five years, most Americans report being no better off financially than they were a year ago. Indeed, the share of Americans saying last year put them in a worse financial position is on the higher end of the 1976-2014 trend.

Although this would seem to suggest that many Americans begin this year in a state of financial unease, a majority instead believe the next year will be financially uplifting. As previous years show, Americans are typically more positive about their future compared with their assessments of the past, a testament to the enduring sense of optimism many Americans share about their financial future.

Ditto! And there doesn’t seem to be any light at the end of this tunnel yet.

Ditto for me, too. Medicine or food may be the next choice I have to make.

Think what America will look like when we aren’t able to increase the federal budget with 40% fake money to pay entitlements and hand out crony contracts...

By the end of this year, I very much doubt that, (unless you are not somehow connected to the Obama administration) you will be able to say will be able to say that you are better off than last year.

Outside of a few places such as DC (political jobs) and NYC (Wall Street jobs), Americans are suffering.

Wall Street is propped up with fake money the Fed created by moving decimal places on computer screens. Millions of people give even more of their money to Wall Street because they want to be in on the bandwagon. Just like the housing boom. In their heart of hearts, they fear the Big Lie will implode soon, but like an addict they cannot stop pursuing the drink, the drug, or the imaginary security they think the stock market brings.

The global fascist banksters plot to “level set” global wages - reduce American pay to whatever the Norks are paid - is going to plan. Suck it up, labor units.

I hear you. I’ve got two jobs and my wife is a nurses aid pulling twelve hour shits. We’re treading water but we’re also not as young as we once were. I really fear this mendacious Marxist moron is going to drive us to a complete collapse.
