On August 16, 2012—a little less than a month before the terrorist attacks on the U.S. State Department and CIA facilities in Benghazi, Libya—Amb. Chris Stevens sent a cable to State Department headquarters in Washington, D.C. stating that a CIA officer on the ground in Benghazi had briefed a State Department officer in that city the day before “on the location of approximately ten Islamist militias and AQ training camps within Benghazi.”
This information was released today in a report issued by the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence.
“AQ,” the initials for al Qaeda, are used in intelligence documents quoted in the report to indicate a tie to al Qaeda. For example, a Defense Intelligence Agency report refers to “al Qa’ida (AQ) regional nodes;” a Pentagon Joint Chief’s intelligence report refers to “AQ associates;” and a CIA report entitled “Libya: Al Qa’ida Establishing Sanctuary,” refers to al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula as “AQAP” and al Qaeda in the Lands of the Islamic Magreb as “AQIM.”

There is no question that the Benghazi affair was bungled badly by the Obama administration. A full telling of the events would have severely embarrassed Obama and may have jeopardized his reelection. If the whole truth were told now it would severely damage his legacy and hurt Hilary Clinton’s 2016 campaign. People were killed, careers were damaged or ruined. Susan Rice lied repeatdly to protect Obama and John Kerry now has the job she coveted. Many military men were forced to retire and ordered to remain silent. There is no doubt the 6th Fleet was monitoring events and any competent commander would have had a strike force ready to intervene within minutes. Who ordered the stand down and why is key to understand this fiasco. Someday when Obama’s goons are no longer in power, the truth will come out.

Just shows that the CIA wanted to locate all their ‘customers’.
BTW, this ‘cia’ is the State Department’s own CIA, not the regular CIA.
I question that. The aftermath was bungled somewhat, but the goal was still accomplished.
Someday when Obama’s goons are no longer in power, the truth will come out.

WHY was Amb. Stevens in Benghazi???? GUN RUNNING, that’s why!! Obama was giving arms to MUSLIMS.
His secuity team was withdrawn mere days before the attack. Just another of a long list of coinky dinks of this admin.
And lost the only other security, of any consequence, at the same time. He was set up.

That’s what I think also.....and PERHAPS they brought in John Boehner on it just to ASSURE that he doesn’t name a Select Committee to look into it!
I thought the Mexican drug cartels were receiving the guns?
