COCHISE COUNTY - A U.S. Border Patrol Agent has shot and killed an illegal immigrant after a struggle, according to the Cochise County Sheriff's Office.
Last night around 9 p.m. border agents were tracking a group of illegal immigrants on foot near Apache on Highway 80. They took two of them into custody without incident. A third one fled the area and was located hiding under a mesquite bush.
He reportedly struggled with the agent for several minutes and attempted to get the agent's weapon before the agent, fearing for his personal safety, pulled his handgun and fired at the suspect. The suspect was struck in the upper body area and died at the scene.
The body of the suspect was taken to the Pima County Medical Examiners' Office for an autopsy and possible identification. The Mexican Consulate was notified of this incident and will be assisting as needed in this investigation, which is being continued by the Cochise County Sheriff's Office.

yup, and they are fixing up his cot at the fed pen right now. Probably getting ready to give green cards and welfare to his survivors.
I’ll be that more investigations will take place, more outrage will be raised and more demands to rein in the authorities will be heard vs when a cop kills a citizen for questionable or no reason.
Oh my they will end this persons career over this.
For those of you that don’t know the area, this is not too far from where rancher Rob Krentz was murdered. That area is a major smuggling corridor and is an area where many smugglers are armed.
I wish we could get more of this behavior, but of course, Dictator Obama and “My People” Holder would never stand for it.
1. Drop the body off at the Mexican consulate.
2. Spray down bed of pickup.
3. Repeat.

Mexico will now decalre war on the US! Obama, under an executive order, will have the border agent executed and willsurrender to Mexico. The US will absord all of Mexico’s debt and will have to rebuild the country after ceding Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, and California to Mexico. And he will have to bow before the Mexican President.
