ABC's latest Bachelor says he doesn't think that there should be a gay or bisexual on the broadcast reality television show and described gays as "more pervert in a sense" in a new interview.

Yup. . .but the students actually feel that is the percentage that ARE homosexual.
When I point out that the Kinsey study was deeply flawed and wrong, and a scientifically rigorous study demonstrated the number is around 1-2%, they are shocked, I mean actually SHOCKED by that number.
Didn’t they already do something like that, but it was one of the contestants that was a tranny. . .I forget which show. . .but I do remember a show that actually did that.
It would be curious to try to figure out why the estimate is that large.
After all, they are out there walking around in this society. It should soon be obvious that the “queer” forces aren’t that great.
Kinsey is like the psycho-sexual equivalent of AGW. Except that really is an insult to AGW.
wouldn’t it be refreshing if at least a few of actors / reality stars (whatever) held their ground and did not apologize for speaking the truth that most people really believe. That is what gets me - most straight liberals are disgusted by gay behavior. They are liars if they say otherwise.

At any rate, the numbers things is in a sense a diversion from what matters. Suppose it really was 20%.
I’ll give you my straightest (no pun intended) shot at what I see here. These are mostly men who are missing the love in their lives needed to bring them up to being confident in being heterosexual (either actively or potential). So they go for substitute love in the form of weird sex practices and/or popular acclaim. Now that the latter looks like a more promising source, they do go for that more.
The answer is deeply theological, and it is practical applied theology. Here’s where I generally have to forcefully cut through a whole lot of presuppositions on the part of religious folks. No, don’t stone them. No, don’t normalize their practice. Yes, do single them out... for love, not hate. Targeted love. Gospel. With emphasis on how it can boost them to where God wanted them to be in the first place before they got tangled up with hell’s demeaning lies about humanity.
There are people who will race others to the bottom to prove that they are tolerant and that would give those types of people what they want.
GLAAD will begin the bombardment soon. I hope he stands firm.
I have asked that question. They respond by referring to all the homosexuals on TV and in movies as proof somehow that homosexuality is common. This leads to a discussion about media manipulation and how movies and TV shape social values.
They “don’t ask” and blissfully go through their day thinking homosexuals are in great number, as they KNOW you can’t tell if anyone is homosexual of not, you see, because on TV good-looking feminine lesbians are everywhere on TV (see Chicago Fire, for example), and the usual dumpy masculine lesbian is hardly to be found (if at all.) So, to the brain-dead students this means homosexuals are out there in great number but you just can’t see them.
I’ve had conversations in class about this. Yes, I know, walking a dangerous path discussing homosexual disinformation in college class. Thus far, no radical homosexual has gone after my, ahem, head.
I had worked drug rehab many years ago. One of the places I worked I did orientation on the midnight shift. The nurse and tech both came on wearing the same type outfit blue striped shirt and blue slacks. (we did not wear uniforms)
Once we finished an admission they(both women) came out with with a homosexual theme magazine.
They didn’t come out and say outright “We are lesbian, so get used to it.” But then I could figure that out from their reading material.

I do not blame the TV. It is a box with no will. The TV is a resource for God or the devil, for good or ill.
If it sounds like I am sharpening a gospel axe on my grindstone, you would be correct. And I’m not ashamed of that. God is going to not get ignored, even if the world has to half go to hell first.
Which begs the question: If you took out a Bible and started reading it, would they have complained?

We need people steeped enough in the Lord to be bold about approaching such people and convincing them that God cares more about them than they could ever guess. And this may be a gradual process. One grand sermon probably won’t work (but never discount the possibility, never say never). But typically many battles have to be fought to win a war, and it’s going to reap the person who witnesses some opposition. But it will also reap that person God’s blessings... and that would even be things like a new and better job if they get kicked out of their old one.
