While 2013 was a year of Second Amendment advocates on defense, 2014 is lining up to be a year of gaining ground on gun rights.
President Obama continues to issue his dictates. Michael R. Bloomberg is still throwing around millions of dollars. And Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is just keeping a finger in the dike on Capitol Hill until the midterms.But the American people are ready to get back to strengthening their rights to keep and bear arms.

I like what Gun Owners of America said about his chief opponent Steve Stockman: he “enjoys fighting” and is an “activist like Cruz who gets out of bed thinking, ‘Which liberal head can I make explode today?’”
Gimme a Ted Cruz over a RINO any day of the week.
I hope that all Texans reading this will send some money to Mr. Stockman! I believe he’s the real deal, and am supporting him all I can.

Either is an improvement. I am going with Stockman, as with him we finally get someone going after Albert Kinsey’s public policy legacy.

When I see the attack ads against Stockman....I think to myseff, if they are trying this hard to smear his name, he’z the guy that will get my vote.
You’d be surprised how many millions of uninformed Texans will believe the Cornball ads they see, or at least desperately want to believe.
Stockman sounds crazy enough to be great...I’m just afraid he’d be crazy enough to say a raped woman can’t get pregnant or some such.
If there can be a runoff, the Stockman people will go en mass to Stovall if he is second, but I think Stockman will run a weak second to Cornball.

It will only take somewhere about 700K at most to win the
primary
based upon the 2012 voting and this isn’t a presidential year.
The point is to force a runoff, then take Cornyn down regardless. Stockman has name recognition and voting record in the house.
Stovall is a good candidate and he'll do well against Cornyn if he comes in second.

I know you follow politics closely and have a lot of info. Who do you think
has the best chance to face Cornyn in a runoff? I know you said Stockman a weak
second but do you think one of the other six may actually come in second. I guess
ultimately the object is get the race into a runoff.
