Does this guy really believe that the government Obama and his ‘RATS have given us is a democracy? If he does he must be living in Washington state or Colorado or making a lot of trips there.

The question we all need to be asking of abortion lovers at every opportunity:
When are liberals going to admit that their goal is to decimate the birth rates of minorities?

What if there were a fourth branch of government... Oh, c'mon, Mr. Rosenberg, even liberals believe the media (at least the large portion that is liberal) are the fourth part of government, helping to elect Dems and push the liberal agenda.
Please don't insult us by pretending otherwise.

It's for the best... The Slate and Salon have nothing of any value to bring to your life. They may as well mirror to
this.

When Obumbles claims he has the right to make laws by himself, where is Salon then? No wringing of hands and wetting of panties when the Left tells us how we are to live, is there? From what time we get up (government time zones), to the amount of water in our toilets, to how much of our paychecks we can keep for our families’ needs, everything is regulated by the power grabbers in Washington. And we are supposed to fear the grannies in the TEA Party???
To: 2ndDivisionVet
The Tea Party is taking a lot of flak. This is good news; must be over the target.

Laws that are unconstitutional or that contravene constitutional rights are not the supreme law of the land so therefore they can be nullified by the States.Military personnel are bound to ignore unlawful orders. Nullification is the same principle writ large. States are morally bound not to follow unconstitutional laws.
To: Vaquero
Thank God we are a constitutional republic. Salons idea of democracy is mob rule by Occupy buttholes.
My first thought as well. I'm far more interested in preserving individual liberty than some quaint, nebulous notion of democracy.

Here's a little something for your Sunday morning enjoyment. And a warning to the butt-pluggers over at Salon:
Life During Wartime
Heard of a van that is loaded with weapons,
Packed up and ready to go
Heard of some gravesites, out by the highway,
A place where nobody knows
The sound of gunfire, off in the distance,
I'm getting used to it now
Lived in a brownstore, lived in the ghetto,
I've lived all over this town
This ain't no party, this ain't no disco,
This ain't no fooling around
No time for dancing, or lovey dovey,
I ain't got time for that now

If the President, who is sworn to execute the laws faithfully, can nullify a law, at least conditionally, so can a state. The States are, by the way, the actual fourth branch of the federal government.

Salon is a communist news source. The fact that they’re worried is a good sign.
To: 2ndDivisionVet
...and pretty much nullify any federal law or Supreme Court decision they dont like, based on the support of as little as 12 percent of the nations population? It's outrageous to think that 12% of the population (i.e millions of people) could dare to think their wishes and needs outweigh the arbitrary rulings of 9 individuals.
