The State Education Board has refused to replace 11 of Alabama’s approved social studies textbooks that feature a chilling overemphasis on Islam at the exclusion of any and all other religions. Most of these textbooks are funded by the Saudi government and distributed free of charge to U.S. schools.

Wonder if citizens have contacted their Senators/Congress people? And, where is the ACLU....they fight against any exposition of Christianity in public arenas so why are they not fighting this??

Evil seems to be winning everywhere. These evil scum bags never rest. Every day, I look for a new outrage, and these slime bags usually come through with one.

Fire the school board.
Stand and fight, burn the textbooks, make them replace them! the founders fought with only about 30% support of the population and won.

I was in 3rd grade there, then. We had just moved from Columbus GA, where we had been living off-post due to a shortage of housing. The schools were still effectively segregated in Columbus.
Starting 3rd grade after the move to Fort Rucker, my teacher at the on-post elementary school was a black woman. Quite surprising at that time in that place, I now realize.
