I dont believe that socialism is communism light. In Economics school we were taught that Socialism is an economic system whereas communism is a political system that is required to maintain socialism.

I point this out because if someone doesn't understand that they may think that socialism is ok as long as we aren't at communism yet, which is not true.

No. It's not, at all. Professing Socialism is simply a touchy-feely method of professing communism. The quest for power and control over others is only mitigated by an intelligent, moral foundation. That is gone.

Stop stop stop with the envy of academics. Yes, we do make good money. Yes, we spent years on book learnin’.

However, at most, 10% of academics are “professors.” The rest teach, like myself. And most really couldn’t care less about politics, and just do our jobs.

When you attack “professors,” you give away the fact that you are repeating $arah Palin blah blah blah,and are frightened to death of book learnin’.

Get over it, grandpa. Even some PhD’s worked on Reagan’s campaigns!!!
