They probably wont promote their 6-inch big hot pastrami sandwich, but the Subway chain of restaurants is partnering with first lady Michelle Obamas campaign to persuade kids to eat healthier meals.
Subway and the first ladys office announced a three-year commitment Thursday in support of Mrs. Obamas Lets Move campaign. The sandwich shops will promote efforts aimed at getting children to eat more fruits and vegetables.
Subway offers a variety of low-fat sandwiches on its menu, along with choices that probably wouldnt get the first ladys approval, such as the six-inch chicken and bacon ranch melt with cheese, which contains 28 grams of fat.

SUBWAY just became another “DO NOT PATRONIZE” business. They have joined “OLIVE GARDEN” and “McDonalds” as “off the list” places to eat.
Damn. We eat at Subway a lot................not any more............I guess Firehouse and Lenny’s is it................
How about Moochelle run a marathon or a triathlon to show us all how to get in shape?

When we go to Subway, we (my wife, my daughter, and myself) all order the Italian BMT.
I have been avoiding sub-way lately, anyway. The last sandwiches that we ordered tasted like the vegetables had been cut earlier in the week and stored uncovered in a walk-in. Everything tasted the same, like old lettuce with a hint of green pepper. Even the tomatoes tasted like old lettuce.
Why? Has she ballooned up to 300 pounds and now is trying to lose weight by eating just Subway?
Checking out various conservative websites with this article. Unanimously people are saying they will no longer patronize this chain. Quiznos and other chains are around for our business. We've done it before and we'll do it again. When I told my husband this morning about this, he immediately said "no more Subway."
Don’t skip it, just don’t order the “approved” items.
No more subway for me — From now on its Chick-fil-A only if I need fast food.
