UPDATE: The filmmaker behind "2016: Obama's America" was briefly handcuffed during his arraignment in New York on charges he violated campaign finance laws in 2012. D’Souza’s bail was set at $500,000 and he was released after promising that one financially responsible person would sign “a personal recognizance bond” within a week.

A $500,000 bond is completely insane for a supposedly illegal campaign donation of $20,000. Heck, most murderers and rapists don’t get that high of a bond around here.

It’s obvious that this is just the latest fascist attack against anyone opposed to Obama. Can you imagine what the press would have done with the Bush or Nixon administrations if they had pulled something like this against one of their political enemies? But the ObammaKommie media will gush about what a wonderful thing this is, this attacking of an Obama enemy on some trumped up charge.

Add this to the BS S&P lawsuit and the IRS targeting of legions of conservative organizations and individuals and repeated attacks on Fox News, real freedom of speech is dead in this country.

Gerald Molen is right on target! Have any of the numerous illegal contributors to, e.g., the Clinton or Obama presidential campaigns - including aliens - ever been prosecuted?

This $ 500,000 bail seems way over the top for an alleged crime such as this, which (at worst) involved far less money than that. For some reason, there is no mention in the article of the name of the judge or magistrate who set that bail.

Excessive bail is prohibited by the Eighth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, but when the left is in control of the proceedings, that means nothing to them.

A bail bondsman would charge $50,000 to bail D’Souza out of jail.

Since D’Souza’s film grossed $33 million, I can't figure out why he wasn't prepared to cover his own bond.

I'm sure taxes, production costs, and financing partners took a big slice, but he must own a house or something that he could have bonded out on.

Instead, he made some weird pledge that an “individual” would cover the bond within one week, and then he was released.

Insane bond, yes, but insane release from custody, too.

I'll guess two reasons.

D’Souza was born in and still has family in India, a nation that might not be inclined to give up one of its own to the USA for a non-violent criminal trial.

Also, D’Souza’s film made a lot of money, although I have no idea how much ended up in his pocket.

Judges do base bail to some extent on the means available to a defendant.

Here's a tip for Dinesh.

Obama is a CULTIST. He's a kook.

ULSTERMAN is 'forbidden' here on Freep, so I won't post the column. But a couple years ago, he posted some column explaining how a Democrat campaign operative attended the Democratic National Convention in 2008.

The Democrat operative (possibly Kam Kuwata, who was later murdered) wandered backstage at the Convention and heard bizarre 'Chanting' coming from a room, before security spotted him and roughly expelled him from the backstage area. The campaign was NOT HAPPY that Kuwata/whoever was wandering backstage seeing/hearing this stuff.

A couple minutes later, Obama emerged looking glassy-eyed like he was on drugs, and took to the stage, and delivered his Convention speech.

Well, I filed that story away in the back of my brain, and pretty much forgot about it.

Until this week.

When I noticed the Corsi (and everybody else) speculation that Obama looks like the founder of the Subud (islamic) Cult from Indonesia.

The founder is Mohammed Subud. Obama's mother AND Loretta Fuddy were apparently members/associated with the cult.

The Cult's USA HQ is Chicago. The Cult has some outpost/establishment in Hawaii. The Cult originated in the 1920's in Indonesia when its founder (Mohammed Subud) started it. Do those 3 places ring any bells?

By the way? Here's a split-screen of Obama (RIGHT), and Subud (LEFT).



Mohammed Subud looks like the identical twin of Obama, down to the exact nose, ears, lips, hairline, facial crease around the mouth. He looks like Obama’s REAL father.

So I did a search for 'Subud Cult,' and started reading about it.

Apparently, the Subud Cult members 'channel demonic spirits' while CHANTING, SOBBING, WEEPING, SCREAMING, and SPEAKING IN TONGUES.
