...why has Bonehead taken this on?...why is it suddenly the GOP’s problem?
Bonor wants the ca$h without controversy. He doesn’t have the votes.
I think their main motivation is to just get rid of the issue. They're tired of fighting it and things will be so much easier for them the next several years of their careers if they just cave and then, move on.
They aren't too concerned about how amnesty will affect American citizens, or the future of the US in general.
