When a smartphone user opens Angry Birds, the popular game application, and starts slinging birds at chortling green pigs, spy agencies have plotted how to lurk in the background to snatch data revealing the player’s location, age, sex and other personal information, according to secret British intelligence documents.
In their globe-spanning surveillance for terrorism suspects and other targets, the National Security Agency and its British counterpart have been trying to exploit a basic byproduct of modern telecommunications: With each new generation of mobile phone technology, ever greater amounts of personal data pour onto networks where spies can pick it up.
According to dozens of previously undisclosed classified documents, among the most valuable of those unintended intelligence tools are so-called leaky apps that spew everything from users’ smartphone identification codes to where they have been that day.

Anyone authorizing such invasions of privacy without a search warrant needs to be charged and tried for their crimes involving thousands—if not millions—of counts of violations of people’s civil rights.

So remember when various gummint agencies were recruiting geeks, gamers, because they thot they had great keyboard, etc. skills? I remember the Air Force being infactuated with basement-dwellers. Why would it surprise anyone that the whole bunch of super geeks would now be flying pigs and otherwise trying to wedge themselves into Alice’s rabbit hole. Let’s wait for some kind of evidence that that these stoners are actually good at anything except pin ball. Who believes that your garden variety suicide bomber spends his last days eating digital cheeze balls?
I am confident that the NSA will be able to track terrorists through following players of the Angry Bird app. Afterall, those birds have real anger issues, something they hold in common with terrorists world wide. So it just stands to reason that Angry Birds is popular game among terrorists. They are probably playing it down in Gitmo right now.
We live in a constitutional republic, with a benevolent government that loves and trusts its citizens. They would never collect data and use it against their enemies.

It's more that the Constitution was specifically created to be useful ONLY to a moral people. Evil people literally have no use for it. After all, does a thief use a crosswalk when running away with the loot?
