The movement against gay marriage is starting to seem kind of silly and outdated, no?
The Grammys mass wedding moment Sunday — where 33 couples, including a sprinkling of gay ones, were joined in matrimony by Queen Latifah — might have been a stunt, but it was an effective one. There’s no better way to normalize gay marriage than to simply show it.
Who would have thought we live in a world where the prim and traditional Rose Parade would break this ground before the Grammys got around to it?
On Sunday, the traditional wedding processional was replaced by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis singing “Same Love,” a plea for equal rights that has become an anthem in the gay community. It begins with Macklemore recounting himself as a third-grader, questioning his sexuality because he's just like his gay uncle — artsy and neat. He muses about whether the hip-hop world would hate him if he were gay, deplores the casual use of anti-gay slurs and concludes:
... a certificate on paper isn't gonna solve it all But it's a damn good place to start.
Yes it is.
Same-sex marriage is still legal in only 17 states and the District of Columbia. But signs abound that opposition is crumbling....

They don’t want it voted on, they want it forced upon society. They choose what to call “equal rights”, while ignoring their own heavy-handed use of tyranny.
The only winners that will come out of ‘gay marriages’ will be ‘gay divorce’ lawyers.
Are the Grammy awards relevant at all? I remember the Simpsons in 1993 where Homer attempts to give one away to a delivery kid, and he throws it away.
But watch the usual suspects report a spike in "married" AIDS patients (the insurance and benefits are what this is about, not "marriage").
They are developing a backlash with this nonsense.
If Divorce, adultery, and fornication hadn’t dragged traditional marriage down into the gutter the gays would never have wanted it. It’s time for an affirming of real marriage—chastity before marriage and fidelity afterward. Don’t dumb it down and they won’t want it.

What? The Grammys are no less a scripted creation.
Also, What could anyone in that audience do BUT applaud? they would be blacklisted it they didn’t. And they knew it. So did the people that created this fiasco...to force all these celebs ‘on record’ so to speak.
It’s just like having to wail and cry at Kim Jung Il’s funeral, really.

No “haters” amongst the lawyers. They are looking forward to cashing in on all the new divorce business gay marriage is going to bring them.
I totally agree. But considering that they are a bunch of whores to the dollar, there was never a real danger of that happening.
Hell, most people on the right can’t give up their TV shows and make any excuse to keep sending that monthly $100 indulgence straight to the libs propaganda machine, so the odds of the propagandists themselves taking a stand has a brother named “Slim” and a sister named “None”.
What, exactly, is this “Grammys” they speak of?
The only thing that stunt proved was that the small percentage of Americans that are gay like to flaunt their lifestyle in public arenas ... and then they say it’s none of our business. Go figure.
Several things wrong with this headline...
1) Don't know who the "haters" are.
2) There is no such thing as "gay marriage". Marriage is a covenant comittment between one man and one woman.
