Republican Liberty Caucus endorses Milton Wolf for US Senate in Kansas

The Republican Liberty Caucus (RLC) has announced its endorsement of Dr. Milton Wolf for the U.S. Senate in Kansas. Wolf is a medical doctor, and is the second cousin of President Obama.

“The RLC is excited to endorse Dr. Wolf,” said Matt Nye, Republican Liberty Caucus National Chairman. “With his intimate knowledge of our medical system Dr. Wolf brings much needed insight to the table, and, as is the case with all RLC endorsees, he is a staunch opponent to the ongoing overreach of government in our lives.”

The RLC endorsement of Wolf was made through a two stage process. The Republican Liberty Caucus of Kansas screened Dr. Wolf’s candidacy first, and then recommended endorsement to the RLC National Board.

“Dr. Wolf is already using his voice to effect change in government,” said Dave Thomas, RLC of Kansas Chair in his endorsement recommendation. “His commitment to the liberty movement is exactly what we need in our next U.S. Senator. Dr. Wolf will fight the broad overreaches by our federal government and the result will be more liberty for all Kansans.”

Dr. Wolf is challenging incumbent Senator Pat Roberts for the Republican nomination. Roberts is finishing his third term in the Senate, and according to Nye, has been moving further away from real conservative principles with each passing year. “It’s time for some new blood that will stand for the traditional conservative values of limited government, free enterprise and personal responsibility ALL of the time,” said Nye. “The RLC believes Dr. Wolf is exactly what the doctor ordered.”

Would the doctor be an upgrade from Senator Roberts? I don’t know a thing about him?

Interesting, I find myself more libertarian as time goes on. Partly because what use to be conservative is now libertarian and partly because my faith in government went from little to zero.

I only disagree with libertarians when the get libertarians it wrong :)

“Would the doctor be an upgrade from Senator Roberts? I don’t know a thing about him?”

Roberts has a 78% conservative averge, has been there for 18 years, and would vote for McConnell for republican leader. Kansas can do better.

I would think Roberts would win 70 percent in the primary. People in KS are known for incumbency in the U.S. Senate.
