RE :”
Just 39 percent of respondents said that new immigration legislation should be an absolute priority this year, with 42 percent saying, “Eh, wait till next year,” and 17 percent saying Congress should forget about reform entirely.” ~ 39 % seems to be the floor for Obama’s approval rating too.
Romney missed it on the 47%, it was 39%,

And how many of the 39% want immigration reform to mean more enforcement of our laws, secure borders, and a decrease in the number of legal immigrants who take jobs from Americans and depress wages?
I really question what is in the 39% number. For example, poll after poll show that blacks want to reduce the number of immigrants admitted annually.

I'm not so sure. If the 2012 election were rerun today, Romney would probably flip a couple more states, Florida for sure and maybe one or two others, but not enough to change the end result.
The sheeple are slow learners.
