The release of House Republican principles on immigration reform this week will ignite a contentious debate within the GOP, forcing Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) to make a series of crucial decisions in the coming months.
Boehner and other senior members are planning to present the document at the House GOPs annual retreat on Thursday in Cambridge, Md., and the reaction of the rank and file will likely determine how aggressively the leadership will press the issue during an election year.
But if GOP leaders do move forward, they would do so with a series of discrete bills rather than the kind of comprehensive measure the Senate passed in June. The principles are not expected to be long or overly detailed, but they will mark a major shift for the House GOP leadership by endorsing legalization, under certain conditions, for millions of immigrants in the country illegally.

Dear Rep. ____________,
Since I am footing all/part of the bill for you to attend this swanky "Amnesty" *retreat*, here is my message to you and ALL GOP Reps in attendance...
NO AMNESTY!! NOT NOW, NOT EVER. Stop the entitlements and build the d@#n fence.
Thank you.
They are master strategists. They are going to pass Amnesty despite the furious opposition of their base and the American people while at the same time, get re-elected and, most importantly, maintain the illusion that there are two major political parties.
The conference is paid for by lobbyists. Security is being paid for by us taxpayers. As well as the salaries of congressmen/women and their staff.
Yes. That’s why I said “all/part”.
Obamas OFA Thanks Paul Ryan, John McCain for Helping Push Amnesty
Send the FAX!
Conservatives should also not accept Ryan’s plan
Could easily lose the House too
