No, the answer is in a different dimension. Let the garbage rot on the vine. Continue to reward the increasingly rarer gems. But also consider the new capabilities, the new media, which a cornucopia of technology has brought us. Want a decent movie? Do it amateurishly if you must, but DO it. And again remember good heaven is not bowdlerized heaven.

I’d be curious about what rule, but it’s also true that Christians have to do something the world doesn’t on its way to the spotlight — fight Satan. Well it does look like the awards’ argument is full of holes if that account is close to accurate. Just who did this grass roots campaign curry favor with? That sounds more merit oriented than, as is pointed out, what usually ensues.
But so what. Don’t give up. This song might not make earthly Academy Awards and so what. It will cheer and inspire millions. It’ll be in heavenly Academy Awards.
And ask God for help to think outside the world’s box. It would be great to stand on that stage and give glory to God... and in fact if God is specifically asked for such an occasion, THEN God might in fact grant it! For His own honor! That’s what grass roots ought to be doing even more than “like”-ing the song.
Heaven has countless songs where that one came from. We haven’t even started to run God’s pen dry here. I suggest getting the applied theology in line, and then the results will follow.
Intellectual property rights are not an extension of natural law. They are based on a agreement of civilized society. They are there to protect ALL parties.
We have a universal selective enforcement of law today. It is not about to happen or in danger of happening. It is happening. There is no longer rule of law.

The sooner we respect the post (even if it could mean deposing the man who occupies it by every proper means) the better we do in God’s plan. As for Moses his cry was “Let my people go” not “get off that throne.” And Jesus told us that we were free to go and we should always honor God. If you honor the king it is for God’s sake only. It’s a different point of view! This is not rebelling for rebelling’s sake. It’s rebelling against the world when God says go the opposite way.
