You nailed it!
Wouldn't that be the same as those who praise and support the Muslim brotherhood and don't understand what a disaster they are?
Maybe that's the problem, all the nations worrying about what the other is doing. Let's all get out of this global business and tend our own gardens.
I largely agree with that.
But unfortunately many problems today are Global or TransNational. We are big enough as a nation to be self sufficient even now, but I am not sure it will always be that way.
The Global Fascists are a major part of the problem.
It would be nice if the parties had some defining colors. Right now it seems all that we have is brush wash.
It is like a once thriving business that is now failing, we need to clean house on both sides. We need new employees to wipe out some of the bad habits.
We need an article five to get us back on track with the original successful model.
Aye.
Back in the day, there was a radio contest entitled “ - - -, and I speak for America!”
People from all walks of life read their speeches and ended with the above quote.
It was a great patriotic, and very popular program.
Today, those in the US Congress who speak for America can be numbered on the fingers of one hand.
__________
The author of this thread’s article lists far more “America is not’s” than “America Is’s.”
She tangentially mentioned the essential topic of swift, punitive enforcement of Constitutional Checks and Balances when writing about belief in Principles.
She also failed to mention action by Americans.
Thus, the author has described America today:
* More negatives than positives;
* More hope for change than action;
* No one is held accountable for their actions or inactions;
* And waiting for someone else to do battle to enforce our Constitutional Checks and Balances.
IMHO, Obama has found the soft, vulnerable underbelly of the US Federal Government.
We ignore the obvious solution at our peril: Impeach Obama in 2014, - - - and I speak for America!
This is what Obama progressives have brought. We are top heavy with negativism because we have no untied interest or effort. It depresses me that when I listen to the people I know most of who are retired they are saying that they did their share and while they will vote for stability if they have a chance they really don't care any more because they won't be around to see the destruction.
A frequent comment is, "let them all live in what they are voting for, then they'll have to figure it out."
I am of that sentiment in ways, but not a day goes by that I don't feel sorry for what might befall my grandsons.
Obama is destroying relationships all over the globe. Egypt, Israel, China, Germany, Brazil.....one can make the case that he is RUINING this nation’s good will in all these places.
And more.
Who wrote this tripe, a 12-year-old?
This is one Egyptian I’d grant US citizenship to as she sees the truth about what has happened to our once great USA.
You have to realize these folks came from the greatest generation they
sacrificed like NO other generation! They look at this generation and
just shake their heads! I can hardly blame them for feeling the way they
do! However I do not believe previous generations understand how much
recent generations have been brainwashed in our education system if WE
as a nation are to EVER change WE MUST get our kids out of the
education system! Kids today do NOT know our history as a nation!
” - - - We are top heavy with negativism because we have no untied interest or effort - - - “
Thanks for making my point: We are waiting for someone else to enforce our Constitutional Checks and Balances.
Benjamin Franklin pointed out the soft underbelly of our Republic, when asked what he had given us: “A Republic, if you can keep it.”
Think about YOUR response-ability - - - - .
She has done a lot to expose the underlying treachery of Morsi’s rise to power and the lies of the Obama Administration and the MSM.
She and I have a few differences, but I greatly respect her friendship. Her husband in not an Egyptian nor an American.
No. She does not understand what W’s motives were in Irag. She does not understand that Sadam did have WMDs. But she does understand that Iraq when we leave will be unstable.
I have tried to change her opinions where I can. We are friends.
Well if she’s your friend, TF, I take back my comment. In fairness, she did make some positive points in other parts of her narrative.
I have posted several of her articles. Not because she asked me, but I thought they gave background on what is happening in Egypt that none of the MSM will dare touch.
She is truthful. I think she is to the left of me politically, but only draw that from some statements she has made. She is informed and is a good translator (has been verified by some here on FR who are fluent in Arabic).
I admit I am subject to cheering all who wish to be free. It is a disorder that I have been subject to since the 1970’s. From the time of the Contras. And many times since then. At times it is an obsession for me.
“Today, those in the US Congress who speak for America can be numbered on the fingers of one hand.”
is the very reason why: “Impeach Obama in 2014” will never happen
Only way to dislodge Obama is a 2nd American revolution.
Hi NSA! Call me before you come by (you have the number) so I can have some tea made
