When she was speaker she wouldn’t allow freshmen GOP congressmen to introduce bills or amendments only to have democrats run against them on the basis that they had done nothing in their first term in congress.
She is powerless. Mentally powerless.

What made me even more upset is that she claimed to be blameless.
How disgusting the Democratic Party is.
She said we had to pass her bill in order to see how it worked, only to find its design is based on the use of unicorn fur combined with unobtainium.
Can we get some real authentic adult leadership in DC?

Pelosi responds by saying we are the party of green, we protect the environment, at which the audience laughs hysterically. She then says to Stewart, “I don’t know how persuadable you are”, at which point, Stewart sort of chokes with laughter.

She didn’t read the bill. What do you expect?
“I can’t recall”...”It’s not my job”...”I didn’t know”... Do the 3excuses for these culpable criminals ever cease? Justice will have none of this. These criminals need to be tried and imprisoned.
This business about not reading is not really at issue.
I believe that no one could read and then comprehend the meaning and nuance of the law. It is too large and the subject too complex. Expertise in infinite quantity would be required.
She was just following orders from the dear leader. Orders which must be obeyed at all times.
Maybe, but her answer was a dodge when critics attacked specific things that were in the bill and protections of life, privacy, etc. that were not explicitly prohibited in the bill (if you don’t make it clear that the government can’t do something, the entity can later do whatever it wants without needing Congress to make the change).
Basically she was saying don’t attack the legislation until it’s already been signed and the dust has settled (surrender and then complain when it’s too late). Or as Bill Clinton’s team used to say “SIT DOWN AND SHUT UP!”
Libs never take responsibility when programs/issues they pushed turn into disasters. They always blame someone, something else.
Example: healthcare.gov disaster was the fault of Republicans who wouldn’t provide enough funding [$600 million +] because they shut down the government so they could perpetuate the war on women by causing states to ban contraceptives.

Nancy didn’t know what was in Obamacare and that was why they needed to pass it. She even wanted to just ‘deem’ it passed so the Dems didn’t even have to vote on it.
