Conservatives will be less likely to vote if McConnell wins the Republican primary. McConnell's approval ratings have dropped to an historic career low. In December, only 31% approved of the job Mitch McConnell has been doing as the Republican Senate Minority Leader. This creates a significant vulnerability for Republicans going into the 2014 mid-term elections. McConnel has lost favor in the places where it matters most: the hearts of conservatives.
Despite his vocal defense of the US Constitution, McConnell trampled the Constitution when he supported the Protect America Act, which allows warrantless wiretaps and the monitoring of electronic communications between American citizens.

Why don’t these old hangers-on have the decency to retire without having to be fired by the voters? So much for dignity.

One word, EGO. That’s right, most politicians in my opinion just want to be “playing a role” on stage”. So they will do anything and say anything to remain on stage. John McCain, Linda Graham are obviously the epitome of this group. There is such a huge contrast between the “stage boys” and the principled ones......Cruz, Hill, Paul and others. The “stage boys” will even go so far as switching parties just to remain on stage, (Snarlin Arlen Specter) comes to mind.
Watch out and don’t get taken in by the EGOTISTS.
Dump Mitch.
He can always get a job at Trent Lott’s lobbying firm!
How many KY FReepers do we have around here?

Exactly. You’d think McConnell would do what he knows is right and just step aside. He had his time.
