One of the best movie lines of ALL time...

“No, dear, I think it says “Fragile”...”

Love that movie. A kid, his BB gun, and a leglamp... all the makings of a TRUE Classic!!!!

We the Rank & File peoples don’t get to CHOOSE our candidates. We have to evaluate the options from the ones who volunteer. I spent several months looking at Bevin; listening to him, speaking with a few friends who know him. To a person, the answer I get back is: Matt Bevin is “genuine”. He IS, the image that is being put forward.

I’m convinced he’s GOOD ENOUGH to beat Grimey (as she apparently LIKES?? to be called?). That’s the main thing.

Matt is NOT a politician. That’s pretty clear. But, he’s improved significantly in a very short time. His message is getting more and more focused. NO ONE ELSE in this state (and, yes... I DO live in Kentucky) had the courage to take on Mitch. The ‘undertaker’ is powerful, and vindictive. Fight him and lose?? Well... let’s just say it’s “bad news”.

I’m sending my tiny bits of money. More significantly, I’m talking with the few people I know who have MUCH MORE money. I will also volunteer for phone banks, which are being organized, and will help with canvassing as much as I can.

In my 50+ years, this election looks like it may be one of the most exciting ever. THIS, is our chance to show the GOPe that we REALLY MEAN it! Status quo has GOT to change. What better way to send the message than to replace the GOPe leader, who is hip-deep in the good ‘ol boy network.

For the life of me, I don’t understand you guys who seem to LIVE for the thrill of kicking people OFF the site?

Are you THAT unable to defend your own beliefs? The first sign on the mildest kind of dissention, and you’re ready to FIRE UP the electric chair.

Makes no sense to me... at all.

The RINOs' most powerful argument has been "he can win."

Thank heaven McConnell is going down.

McConnnell has clearly worn out his welcome. He’s a great strategist and legislative tactician, but he’s been there for 30 years. Some of these elderly Senators need to retire.

I can’t disagree with that. I just wish that a good, viable, conservative candidate had filed to run against him.

(I get it, fear of retribution from McConnell scares off the best potential challengers—heck, it even scared Rand Paul into endorsing McConnell’s reelection over a Paulistinian challenger—but that doesn’t make his challengers any better.

Whatever happens in the primary, the most important thing is that the GOP nominee defeats Alison Lundergan Grimes (or Grimey, as she prefers to be called).

Darks is right. JudiBug made his/her statement and had no intention of responding to any questions or challenges. I will debate anyone who wants to debate if it’s a subject I’m interested in. Darks, Cyber, moose, many others and I are just tired of obvious trolls. Nothing to gain letting them do hit and runs on multple threads flinging their drivel and running away. I tell you what next time I see one I’ll try to remember to ping you and see if you can engage them in conversation. Basically the dead give away troll says “You are a liar and you hate America” then they run away. I’m 60 years old and I have known a troll when I see or hear one since I was 5 years old.

Exactly.
Judibug had no intention of “debating”.
[Nevermind that FR is not a liberal debating society, irrelevant to the point at the moment.]
They were here to toss a turd into the window, then go back to wherever they were from to hoot, beat their chest, and pretend they did something brave.

We merely cracked jokes and laughed at them on our own time afterwards.
Troll posters like Judibug are like the driver of this blue car:
