President Barack Obama said that he is in a lot of ways less liberal than former Republican President Richard Nixon and said Fox News Channel's Bill OReilly has been absolutely unfair to him throughout his presidency in an interview that aired Monday night.
In a lot of ways Richard Nixon was more liberal than I was, Obama said. He started the EPA, started a whole lot of the regulatory state that has helped keep our air and water clean.
Obama's comments came in response to O'Reilly asking him if he was the most liberal president of all time. Obama also listed Franklin Delano Roosevelt and Lyndon Johnson as presidents who were also more liberal than him.
OReilly conducted a live and at times contentious interview with the president on Sunday ahead of the Super Bowl. An additional taped portion of the interview aired on The OReilly Factor on Monday.
During the sit-down in which OReilly asked about issues like the 2012 Benghazi attack and the troubled health care roll out, the Fox News firebrand asked the president if he felt his network has been unfair to his administration.

The truth hurts, right Barry?!
He’s down to his last talking point.
I'm waiting for the first televised Oval Office temper tantrum. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that it is coming.
What’s unfair is the hell that man has put the country through during his reign of terror in the White House. Now THAT is what’s unfair. Not having to face the truth in front of an audience that likely didn’t vote for your sorry carcass in the first place!
Got your fairness right here, zer0.
Fair?
The EXEMPT treasonous sociopath is whining again.
First off, I’d love to see this guy in the witness chair being questioned by Joe McCarthy.
However, even that would probably not be enough to get this evil slab of jello pinned down. Perhaps an inquisition by Torquemata would be needed.
O’Reilly is a “firebrand”??? Who knew.....
Pretty thin skin for a Chicago tough guy in DC. It must be difficult for him to talk to someone that is not bowing to him.
Imagine if the press treated him like a Republican. He’d go catatonic.
Fox was unfair. BOR did not go far enough for America.
If he can’t deal with BOR he’s way over his head trying to be president.
The President is half-right. Nixon was one of most liberal Presidents by his actions, such as repealing Bretton Woods, starting the EPA, and wage/price controls. Obama, however, has never been a liberal; he is a postmodern revolutionary, who would have to move miles to the right to be liberal in the mold of LBJ, HHH, RFK, or Carter.
Talk to Palin and then Dubya.
Nobody cares what you think/speak anymore, Barry, even if some claimed you had soaring eloquence.
In order to make the news cycle, now you and your misus will have to resort to outrageous outright lies (even more so than the previous 6+ years).
I sincerely hope your dream of $$$$ speaking fees completely dashed.
-——I’m waiting for the first televised Oval Office temper tantrum.-—
Me, I’m waiting for the Ceausescu or Robespierre moment when the people interrupt his speech of the day and literally shout him down.
The realization dawns........ It’s over
Who forced him to do the the interview? no-one.
I am sure Rev Al Sharpton would have held each ball out for Obama to hit.
One thing about his answers to BOR that caught me was the most brillient mind on the planet refers to the Fox News Network as
“your TV station.” In other words, just like I surmised, the technocolor 3D mind of Obamoan is simple not complex, it has the depth of a kiddie pool verses an ocean.
“Whats unfair is the hell that man has put the country through during his reign of terror in the White House.”
What’s unfair is that unelected people, like Valerie Jarrett, have enormous power over our lives. What’s unfair is that the media use their most powerful microscopes to look into every detail involving Republican scandals, but don’t even bother to put on their reading glasses to look at what scandals this President - or any other democrat for that matter - are mired in.
