I have to admit Apple does enter the market with the best freshest ideas.
But then Samsung, Android, Google, etc. etc. is immediately on the scene with better, less exprensive alternatives.
Call me a Luddite. I am going to stick with my old fashioned mechanical time piece. Can’t see good enough to watch movies on my watch anyway.
the iWatch, or any of the wrist mounted phones, will be a complete flop. no one wants to have an intercom, wireless or not, strapped to their wrist for everyone to hear
even a wrist mounted touch pad would be pointless.
wireless displays mounted in contact lens might be a big thing... but that’s still a little ways off
Apple is now reduced to the Google tactic, which is to throw anything and everything at the wall, hoping something will stick.
I’ve wanted a new watch for a long time, but I haven’t seen anything in the market yet that make me say I want that one. The watch market is pretty much same old same old for decades
Its my understanding that the Mark Of the beast worn on either the hand or the head....refers to that which we DO....the hand and that which we THINK ....the head.
we do well to remember the symbolic nature of ancient hebrew speech
Phylacteries...Keeping God’s law near our eyes....physically
The mindset that had Tefillin, or phylacteries, two small black leather boxes worn on the left arm and forehead by observant adult male Jews.
I believe there to be a substantial analogy there.
I could be wrong.
This article fails to do the one thing I wanted from it, to describe what the watch does that would generate such sales.
If anyone worships the beast and his image and receives his mark on the forehead or on the hand, he, too, will drink of the wine of God's fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. Revelation 14:9,10
So much for RFIDs!
The NSA’s alma mater was iWatch U!
“The iWatch may cost $299 when it launches later this year, Morgan Stanley analyst Katy Huberty said in a note to investors on Tuesday (via CNET), “
What a shock. People selling stocks in Apple go on and cheerleads for Apple’s unannounced products. Tech websites print it without a blink.
This is almost crony capitalism.
Does that watch come with or without NSA breadcrumbs?
Ping!
Still waiting for the iSuck vacuum cleaner......
I have some more “next big thing” ideas for Apple to add to the iWatch accessory line:
1. The iCuffLink.
2. The iSuspenders.
3. The iWingTipBrogans.
4. The iFedoraSnapBrimHat.
5. The iBuggyWhip.
6. The iRotaryTelephone.
7. The i33RPMVinylRecord.
8. The i8TrackTape.
9. The iTieTack.
10. The iBlackAndWhiteTV.
11. The iConsoleRadio.
12. The iCassetteTape.
I’m waiting for electronic iDepends!
“I was hoping for a Longines.”
The last watch I purchased was a mechanical self-winder. Next one will be as well. I’m as geeky as the next guy, but a finely crafted mechanical watch is a thing of great beauty and coolness IMO.
