157 [ONE HUNDRED FIFTY-SEVEN] Air Force majors forced into early terminations, no retirement or benefits.
All 157 had been twice passed over for promotion and were within six years of retirement.

Why are these people not speaking up? Where is 60 minutes? I’m kidding. But, have people been threatened? It would not surprise me if people are tight-lipped for good reason as is always the case in communistic/ socialistic tyrannies the likes of which this country appears to be rapidly devolving into.

Thank you. Reading the other comments I was beginning to think I was the only one wondering WTF.

“All 157 had been twice passed over for promotion and were within six years of retirement.”

It has long been the case that an officer twice passed over is expected to resign. There were times when 04s were allowed to stay for the last few years until retirement, and times when they were given early retirement, but not with this crowd.
