Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) said that she will “give President Obama a number of executive orders he can sign” through the new Congressional Full Employment Caucus.
She said signing executive orders “should be our number one agenda.”

If the uneducated masses needed a champion, they have found a contender.
Congress has been abdicating its exclusive powers for 100 years (actually, they are OUR powers which we granted to Congress in Article I).
What you see here is the end game. It's not new, and a lot of prior abdications have had worse results.
My top 3:
1) The Federal Reserve was given the power to "coin" money and regulate the value thereof in 1913.
2) The Executive Branch was granted the power to make laws regarding the environment between 1955-1971.
3) Lyndon Johnson was allowed to make war on North Vietnam in 1965.
You may wish to add to the list. Congress, by its various abdications since 1913, no longer serves the purpose for which it was created, and it is unlikely to survive in its present form for much longer.
