WASHINGTON Time is running out. He is vastly underfunded. The GOP establishment has targeted him.
But Rep. Steve Stockman, R-Texas, has a strategy to knock off the second-most powerful Republican on Capitol Hill, Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas.
Its the same strategy that propelled big underdog Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, to victory in 2012: Keep the entrenched incumbent below 50 percent in the primary election; then knock him off in a runoff.
One of the most reliably conservative voices in the House of Representatives, Stockman has made a big name for himself in a short time during his second stint in Congress (he previously served from 1995 to 1997), partly with such stinging tweets as, Liberals love diversity. Thats why they punish anyone who doesnt think, act, eat, drink, drive and speak exactly like them.
Scathing remarks like that are why Stockman has become the darling of so many conservatives and the bogeyman to such liberal outfits as MSNBC.
The congressman has made numerous fans and foes with such headline-grabbing maneuvers as bringing WND columnist Ted Nugent as his guest to last years State of the Union address, and calling for the House to begin impeachment proceedings against President Obama after walking out during this years address.

Now he is taking the biggest gamble of his political career, risking his safe seat as a member of the House in a long-shot bid to oust Cornyn.
But, the clock is running and money is scarce. The Texas GOP primary is on March 4. Cornyn has almost $7 million in campaign funds in the bank compared to Stockmans $47,000.

$20 sent to Stockman. More on the way.
Not a dollar’s difference will matter in the campaign budgets of the two candidates. The only thing that will matter is who shows up to vote and that costs nothing for us Texans, so Cornyn’s campaign cash imbalance wont save his sorry ass if I have anything to do with it, and I will.
Cornyn needs to be replaced with a conservative.
Just made a small donation!
Absolutely!
Let’s make this happen!
Take down McConnell, Cornyn and Graham then watch the Senate Republicans have an epiphany.
I don’t know about anybody else, but I did NOT vote for any “Republican” over the past several years to have them go to Washington just to play footsies with the Socialists. I sent them there to FIGHT to preserve our Country. If they can’t do that, then they need to be FIRED.

Not something we'd want to let slip by...
where’s his senate site? I googled and of course the first things that show up are paid stuff against him. His House site doesn’t link to his senate campaign site of course - but I would like to give...
All I could find was http://stockman2014.com/. Not much but better than anything for Cornyn.
Cornball would laugh at your generosity. The elitists like him hate the average American.
Does anyone have an update on the Dewhurst-Patrick race? I understand Dewhurst has a lead.
You make a good point; so many are too uninformed to show up for a primary.
“Does anyone have an update on the Dewhurst-Patrick race? I understand Dewhurst has a lead.”
Have no clue. I’ve only been following senate races.
I have not been able to decide between Stockman and Stovall but this morning made up my mind and donated $50 to Stockman. Appreciate all the input from FR’s
Stovall has a bright future here in TX even if he doesn’t get this one. We’ll probably voting for him in another capacity soon.
Bump for later read. Lengthy article.

Cotton, you know that I posted this on another thread. Please allow me to repost it here:
Has anyone heard of the Ten Tell Ten Campaign Strategy? Ive thought about doing a Vanity Post on this. The TTT Campaign Strategy can begin with just one (Conservative) person who convinces ten people to vote for his/her (Conservative) candidate and gets those ten people to convince ten people and ask each of those ten to convince ten....... You get the picture. It will work in a city or county election or a Statewide Election. (You could have a TTT campaign strategy with Twenty Tells Twenty or Thirty Tells Thirty....) This will definitely do more than Cornyns and McConnells lying ads talking about what great Conservatives they are.
