Aw, shucks - - - thanks.

That failed idea has been tested with every Bank Robbery since Jesse James, and this generation still doesn’t believe that the tests were valid.

And no, I was not yet born when Jesse was a-riding!

So thanks for taking note, and maybe we will get back to punishing, REALLY punishing the criminal politicians who break the US Constitutional Laws.

So how come your favorite Chamber "K" Street bagmen never jump all over Obama the way they do the Tea Party?

Wanna dance now?

It was the Hammer from Texas, Tom DeLay, that wanted the K St. crowd, and it's money. I could care less, but I know who was blamed for the last credit rating downgrade.

Hint: it wasn't the rats.

I do not believe the author and the GOP leadership are sincerely opposed to ObamaCare, massive debts, or massive unfunded programs like Social Security and Medicare.

What will change between 2012 and 2014?

Two things.

More demoralized Conservatives will stay home on election day.

The Democrats will register another 1 million Socialist immigrants.

RE: “Do you want the debt downgraded?”

05 August 2011 - S&P Downgrades US Treasury Debt

05 August 2011 - Thirty Year Bond: 3.7%

15 February 2014 - Thirty Year Bond: 3.7%

Do you think our bond ratings will stay that way forever when the dollar is buying less and less, e.g. food and fuel?

From what I've read, it was working class whites who stayed home. Most conservatives held their noses and voted for Mitt.

I voted for him.

In spite of his often “fluid” political principles, I felt he was a man of basic integrity, a disciplined worker, and a family man.

The just released film on his campaign is very depressing, however.

My basic take away - the man did not want to run for president.

That feels like a fist in the stomach.

The most important job in the country, at a critical point in our history, and somehow the GOP found a man who lacked the passion, the political insight, and the personal conviction to run a competitive campaign against Barack Obama.

I thought the 30 Year Bond would be around 15% by now.

I have completely given up trying to understand our financial system.

Everything I thought I knew about finance is useless.

Massive money printing, massive debt, massive fiscal deficits, and interest rates have barely moved.

I voted for him.

Me too, not that I thought he was a winner. He had no appeal to social conservatives, the base. It was more like dumb bunnies gone wild.

Didn't the Chicom s get out of or stop buying our short term debt? Theres a reason economics is called the dismal science.

The national review and their founder, William f Buckley opposed Reagan at every turn until he won. They are the voice of the northeastern GOP establishment. And they are dead wrong. They can join Hewitt, ingraham, Fox News and the rat of the ilk on being on the wrong side of history.

The Chinese total holdings have drifted up about 10% over the last year to $1.31 trillion.

I don’t have a chart for their holdings by duration.

Total foreign holdings are $5.71 trillion.

I believe total US Treasury public debt is just over $17 trillion, which is more than our annual GDP.

I think you might be mistaken about the relationship between Buckley and Reagan.

There's a quasi-famous speech Buckley gave, with Reagan in attendance, where Buckley says Reagan is the political figure he admires most in America.

I'm not certain of the date, but I believe Buckley said that before Reagan ran for president.

I think I was mistaken. For some reason, and I’ve tried looking, I thought NR was supporting Bush over Reagan in the 1980 primaries and Ford over Reagan in 1976 but I can’t find anything.

Correct, and we have more rivers than Indonesia.

The only question is, whose skulls will form the pile?
