Before going home, each member of the 208th ECB was given around 6 sheets of history done in cartoon fashion as well as a list of all members and their home addresses. Each of the images represent something but the only one which I know about is that of a Messerschmidt strafing the Engineers while they were working in a stone quarry. One of their sergeants shot it down with a BAR. Maybe a one in a million shot but he did it.

Hank Ballard had introduced the Twist in 1960, and it had caught on to some extent in the college scene. But it took two years to make its way into the high school scene, and then it became a major craze. There were Twist songs everywhere. This sounds like proto-reggae.
