I don’t remember his ever saying this. All he, Pelosi and Reid said was that ObamaCare was going to be a jobs program like the Job Corpse and was going to make da conomy “boom” again. People need to stop thinking ObamaCare is about health care. It’s about jobs. SEIU jobs.
I’m worried about my 70 YO spouse. She’s on medicare plus my retirement insurance but she has Parkinson’s and is on her second set of deep brain simulators. When the battery’s run down it’s 60K. She has a couple years to go... I don’t know if they will replace them next time...

There is an exceptions process for non-formulary medications based on medical need. The physician has to make a case and justify the use. Then it is covered like a brand name. Same as it’s always been.

Nope... None of the above. There just LI batteries. They are sealed inside a titanium shell and are not replaceable. But of course they are... And they are implanted just under the skin. And, I insisted when they replaced them the last time, that since “I” paid for them, I wanted to old ones. After a bit of fighting I got them. They plug in just like any modern device with a plug. If worst comes to worst, I can replace the batteries and I can do the surgery to replace them. I am an Engineer after all.

Thanks but She will die without these devices... They would still have to replace them. Medtronics, the manufacturer is laying off thousands because of the new tax on these things.
