"Juan The Apologist" is terrified of the Tea Party and gives them far more credit than perhaps they deserve, but hey, it's all good news for the Tea Party, the party for the Constitution....what part of that document does Juan not like or understand? It's wrong for the GOP and Tea Party to openly stand up for our Constitution?

I was unaware Republicans were in a death grip by stand up Americans....Juan, you make yourself look foolish with such blather.

My, my. All these liberals so concerned about the Republican party.

You know why? Because they want a weak establishment GOP to keep the uniparty going.

Juan is an unreconstructed Obamophile and liberal.

“By their enemies ye shall know them.” The Tea Party should feel pleased.

The following comments have been attributed to Democrat political operative James Carville (aka “Serpenthead”, an appellation given him by his own wife). According to the alleged myth-busting website Snopes, owned and operated by a leftist Canadian husband and wife team who have been often caught shading – or ignoring altogether – information inimical to their leftist agenda, Carville never said this:

(Begin Carville’s “alleged statement”.)
“Ideologies aren’t all that important. What’s important is psychology.

The Democratic constituency is just like a herd of cows. All you have to do is lay out enough silage and they come running. That’s why I became an operative working with Democrats. With Democrats all you have to do is make a lot of noise, lay out the hay, and be ready to use the ole cattle prod in case a few want to bolt the herd.

Eighty percent of the people who call themselves Democrats don’t have a clue as to political reality.

What amazes me is that you could take a group of people who are hard workers and convince them that they should support social programs that were the exact opposite of their own personal convictions. Put a little fear here and there and you can get people to vote any way you want.

The voter is basically dumb and lazy. The reason I became a Democratic operative instead of a Republican was because there were more Democrats that didn’t have a clue than there were Republicans.

Truth is relative. Truth is what you can make the voter believe is the truth. If you’re smart enough, truth is what you make the voter think it is. That’s why I’m a Democrat. I can make the Democratic voters think whatever I want them to.”
(End of Carville’s “alleged statement”.)

My point in bringing this to your attention?

Whether Carville said these things or not is completely irrelevant. The fact is that we are living in the midst of an era in which a distressing portion of the Democrat electorate is proving those words accurate beyond any question or doubt.

And that begs the most important questions we will ever ask: Will America – the admittedly imperfect IDEA the Founders sought to leave us – survive this very dangerous era? And will it survive long enough for some of us to continue improving this fragile experiment in the freest and most productive system in the history of the world or will we allow those whose only goal is to accrete and wield power by any and all means to destroy it and replace it with a system that has failed each and every time it has been attempted?

Each time I deal with this topic, the words of the perspicacious Baltimore journalist – back when journalism was still an honorable profession – Henry Louis Mencken come to mind: “The urge to save humanity is most often a false front for the urge to RULE!”

If we fail to correctly answer those questions in the next national elections, God help us.

But then, since we kicked Him to the curb decades ago, why would He?

Looks like we’re on our own and we probably only have one or two more chances to get it right!

Juan is obviously terrified of the tsunami coming in November.

Personally, I know no one that wants “An extension of unemployment benefits for people suffering long-term joblessness; a minimum wage hike; and, most important of all, immigration reform.”

Juan is an idiot and a fool.

Believe it or not.

Sunday afternoon I attended and video documented the inaugural meeting of the CT GOP Tea Party Caucus. RTC and state central members were present.

The Tea Party controls about 30% of the Ct GOP.

And the best candidate for governor, Joe Visconti from West Hartford, is a 5 year Tea Party activist.

In this video Joe goes head to head with State Senate Minority Leader John McKinney from Fairfield, at an RTC debate Sunday. McKinney was one of the architects of the harshest gun law in America, and he claimed he saved our guns.

CT Gun Candidate vs Gun Grabber Candidate Joe has nationalized his campaign. Today the Hartford Courant (the oldest newspaper in America) in its editorial compares Joe to Wayne LaPierre of the NRA.
