It’s the “Coke brothers” you know because they have a well established history in using NGOs to screw with the internal politics of other countries unlike George Soros who has no record at all or track record at all in doing such things....

They (or I guess I should say “we” as I’m Eastern Christian) view sainthood in the here and now as a calling and something one can achieve in this life.

I have vague memories of attending Orthodox services with my Grandmother on a couple of occasions.
Half of the people, here or anywhere, isn’t enough to keep one in power, if the other half is being treated unfairly. It takes a lot less than half, that are mad as hell, to clean out a few gummint buildings and hang the problem.

You got it. Eastern Christianity, be it the Eastern Rite branch of the Catholic Church or Orthodox Church is a very deeply spiritual faith.
