The United Auto Workers said on Friday it filed an appeal with the government over "interference by politicians and outside special interest groups" in an election last week in Tennessee where Volkswagen workers rejected the union. The union said in a statement that its appeal to the U.S. National Labor Relations Board details "a coordinated and widely publicized coercive campaign conducted by politicians and outside organizations to deprive Volkswagen workers of their federally protected right to join a union."

I expect the “Justice” Department will supply tanks to all the union thugs to make sure no such outside interference will ever happen again.

VW workers sitting on the fence about joining the UAW are going to love the UAW not accepting the vote of the Chattanooga VW workers.

The NLRB will declare the plant unionized. It’s been obvious from the beginning. There is too much union dues/Democrat campaign contributions at stake.

They were told that if they unionized it broke the VW agreement with the state and all the subsidies ended. It was not coercion, but consequences.

I expect the NLRB to give them a second bite at the apple. They only need to turn around a handful of votes. VW requested that they not visit the employees at home. My dad received a visit from four thugs. He went to the door with his hand wrapped around a snub-nosed .38 and told them to f*ck themselves. Dad was well-known and respected, so nothing happened to him. But he did lose the election, he thought through a counting irregularity. That may be why they didn’t hurt him. But the bruisers who visited him were simply muscle. No other way to describe them.

I would expect this time they’ll visit the holdouts.

They'll just get Eric Holder to look at the results with his 'special' election commission

Yep, Democrats just cannot accept how people vote, so they keep counting and counting until they get it “right”.

Just ask Al Gore, or Al Franken.

"interference by politicians and outside special interest groups" in an election

Is there ever a union election in this country where this does NOT happen?

Only liberals politicians and liberal special interests are allowed to comment on union elections. Everyone else should stay out. "It would be a shame if something happened to their families".

Yeah, I am real freakin’ shocked. They do what they can to force their grubby little paws onto the factory.

I pass water on the UAW.

I love the smell of desparation in the morning.

I’m still trying to figure out why this is getting national attention when Nissan in Smyrna, TN have told the UAW to shove it for decades.
