Incredible footage of brave Ukrainian protestors coming under sniper fire from government forces (graphic long video)
Thank you for your opinion, Justice Stevens.
> “I dont know if the Ukrainians will succeed in escaping the Russian orbit, but I so admire the fight they are putting up for freedom. Will we do the same thing if the time comes? Will we let our forefathers and the principles upon which our Republic is based, down? I sure hope not.”
-great post! This video will give you hope. Have a watch.

Yes, I am sure most of the protestors are younger, but the poster whose comment I was referring to was trying to point out that there were oldsters joining in.
I hope that their deaths will not be in vain.

Amen. Prayers up.
Actually I was agreeing with you, and pointing out that the protesters generally seemed to be older in age than the Occupy Wall Street crowd (or Vietnam War era protesters) that we see in America.
I am sure lots of young protesters died in Ukraine, but I wonder if the generally older crowd realized that these protests were important, and that what they were fighting for was worth dying for? Compared to many of America’s protests that seem more a way for upper-middle class college kids to show how concerned they are, and to get out of class on a sunny spring day?
Yes, good points.
Prayers continue for these people.
