Hugo Chavez’s Daughters Refuse to Leave Presidential Party Palace
The late dictator’s children won’t move out of the president’s official residence, which is filled with antiques and priceless art
It’s hard times in Venezuela these days. The economy is in shambles, crime is spiraling, and the opposition is leading increasingly strident protests on the streets. To make matters worse, President Nicolás Maduro can’t even deal with the crisis from the comforts of the presidential palace.
Constitutionally, of course, Maduro has been able live in La Casona, a luxurious villa in the heart of the capital, since he was sworn in last year. The only problem: Almost a year after Maduro’s predecessor, Hugo Chávez, passed away, his three grown children—Maria Gabriela, Rosa Virginia and Hugo Jr.—are still living in the villa. Apparently, they have no intention of leaving.
The two daughters have allegedly converted La Casona into a social club for friends of the family. According to recent media reports, neighbors complain of “deafening” parties. Fast-food restaurants and catering agencies refuse to deliver to the mansion, allegedly, because the Chávez kids have stopped paying their bills. Even concert organizers are complaining; Chavez’s daughters allegedly force them to hand over dozens of free tickets so they can share them with their friends. (Both the country’s Information Ministry and the Chávez family were unavailable for comment.)

And if Obama came out and said, "We stand with the people protesting the Maduro regime" what possible difference would it make? Who would give a damn?
Maybe Obama should send troops to restore the Socialist State in Venezuela. Bring order and kill all of those who are too stupid to see the glories of Progressive Socialism and the worker’s Utopia. Then the troops could come home and force all young people to buy Obama care or face long prison terms on the collective labor farms. They are such Knuckleheads you know—why they might even sing Obama’s praise as they harvest the crops by hand.

Also silent is John Mccain who quickly supported every foreign anti-govt protest in the last 3 years.
Obama’s actions on the world stage relative to Venezuela, Libya, Syria, Iran etc. seem irrational and quixotic. His actions within the United States have been economic insanity and unconstitutional and strange for the President of the United States. He lies to the people repeatedly and with impunity. He is attempting to silence the press. He is using the government to suppress his political opposition via the IRS, FEC, FCC, Justice Department etc. His EPA is wrecking the electric energy sector. Why would a patriot of our great nation do these things?
His actions are not irrational, quixotic, strange and he IS NOT a Patriot. His actions are perfectly logical if he is a Marxist. The president of the United States is philosophically a Marxist, period
He doesn’t want to have to take a side on the notion of a government slaughtering its political dissidents.
