The NFL is about to be wussified out of existence anyway.
Concussions can happen whether one is in sports or not. They are dangerous. One must weigh carefully what you are willing to risk when it comes to your children’s health and safety.The folks in the NFL are adults.

‘Gladiator’ Football is on its way out. It’s up to fans whether they can accept a return to football of yesteryear...
...or accept a transition to the ‘other football’...
Once they start requiring networked accelerometer-equipped helmets the ‘game is all over’ if the game can’t change and keep its fan base.

Reissue leather helmets. Once the protection is gone, hitting with one’s head is going to hurt again.
Here in Maryland they closed my favorite swimming hole in the early 2000s over lawsuits, if everyone cant swim then I am not allowed to swim.
That place was a blast. Open water swimming is fantastic in Maryland summer heat.
