A U.S. appeals court ordered YouTube on Wednesday to take down an anti-Muslim film that sparked violence in many parts of the Middle East, prompting widespread riots and influential clerics calling for the death of an American actress who sued for the removal of the clip from the site.
The decision by a divided three-judge panel of the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco reinstated a lawsuit filed against YouTube by an actress who appeared briefly in the 2012 video that led to rioting and deaths because of its negative portrayal of the Prophet Muhammad.

Oh, the poor sensitive Muslims. Wouldn’t want to hurt their feelings. /sarc
The video that has been downloaded how many times by now?
“Film that sparked violence”
Hence, there is no freedom of speech when ti pertains to Islam. Our court system has bowed to Mecca and worshiped the meteor.
ACLU, you’re being paged.
This has to go to the supremes. I am not sure they would go along on this one.
Note the actresses irreparable harm includes all the death threats she is getting, from the peace loving religion this film impugned.
Tell me why any freedom loving American citizen should give a rat’s rear that muslims don’t want Muhammed depicted? I suggest they don’t depict him then, and get off my lawn. I will “depict” anything I want.
I cannot wait to find out who actually made and planted this video. Hillary was right there as the advance team promoting this film/video on day one. Oh how this nasty woman grates on my sensibilities.
The only thing this will accomplish is to embolden the invaders, a guarantee of more killings and destruction.
Oh, and it also weakens our nation’s constitutional protection of free speech.
Because Catholics don’t butcher people, Serrano’s horribly offensive jar of urine, and Ofili’s defiled Holy Virgin were presented in the face of vociferous protests.
In the case of Serrano’s piece, when then-mayor Rudi Giuliani threatened to cut off NYC funding to the Brooklyn Museum, he was lectured to about free speech by leftwingers.
The correct response should be “And what give the courts the authority to give such an order”? And if they did have such authority then surely any video that offended any group of people would have to be removed as well. Of course The First amendment does not give anyone the right to even pass such a law.
Until the corrupt courts are put on Ignore then the downward spiral of America will continue. It is up to the states to start putting them on Ignore when they twist and pervert the constitution.
You lie, Fox. It did NOT “spark the violence.” Idjits.
This is Fox reporting the lie that it sparked violence.
Following the example of our lawless AG, court order can be safely ignored if desired.
It’s a 2 minute trailer and there is nothing bad in it about islam really lol.
Welllllll, Hillary went on a globul campaign mode to advertise the evil of this supposed trailer. And even attempted to make the massacre in Benghazi the results of this evil. Somebody has yet to be exposed for making/using this video as cover up for a far bigger and unrelated event.
