The people of this country have a deep capacity for organizing and responding to crises. Plus, our capabilities for fixing problems that arise...we can handle this.

Responding to natural or man made catastrophes that suddenly devastate - YES, we had a capacity to do so.

But slow incremental enslavement to Government Socialism? I think Jefferson knew human nature better than most of are willing to admit.

"all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed."

Mankind's nature is one that desires safety and security - even if it's a despotism. Ancient Israel is a perfect example - there God Himself led them into liberty and they wailed and moaned and wished they were back in captivity in Egypt because risk was too much for them to handle.

In addition, we are NOT the same people our forbears were, nor are we the same people we were just two generations ago. There are a good number of us to be sure, but we are in a woeful minority of anyone willing to risk our lives, fortunes or sacred honor to go up against the Beast. Many have bought the lie that we should not judge, nor act in any uncivil manner towards those things anathema to our foundations - and that doing so is the worst kind of sin.

Tipping point? Economics will make the fact we reached that point some time ago very plain and certain in our very near future. Math does not lie, and simple math says we are way beyond the tipping point - economically.

Everything else will follow in terms of the divisions carefully placed and laid like a minefield in this society.

My next stop is the graveyard. Other than that I am not planning on going anywhere. I was born free and when I die, I will die free. Whether that happens to be of natural causes or not. Long ago I made my peace with my Maker. From my front yard to my back yard is as far as I plan on traveling. And same to you My FRiend.

I understand that it is coming as sure as Monday follows Sunday. When it will come is what I do not know. If they decide to wait, that is o.k. with me. If they decide to rush, that is still o.k. with me. I , personally, hope that the people in CT stand up to them.

Good luck with that...don't let the door hit you on the way out.

It was a semi-humourous rhetorical reply.

The longer this people wait to stop this tyranny the more blood is going to be spilled in resisting it or overcoming it.

I cannot even get enough to agree that it is time to defy and refuse the crap coming from the regime. Many have lost their ability to discern good from evil, liberty from tyranny. As long as cable and beer is available, many say we're all good, even if it's EBT cards obtaining it.

Yep. The thing the Leftist control is “perceptions” . They control the “poll” results and they want people to feel “defeatism” and fear. because they are really a minority, although they have trillions of dollars working for them.

They are in a lot of trouble, because of the internet and the Truth/God. There are enough cracks in their control of the MSM, and they are really scared sh*tless and trying to cover up all their evil deeds, which can’t be done now.

But, it is time, to take back the country and get back to the Constitutional Rights and Rule of Law. Otherwise—we will go Down (as Cicero stated). Without Rule of Law we can not survive.

We are now at a constitutional tipping point in our system...Turley continues to bloviate and still dodges the big question - do you support impeachment and removal of this president, who you seem to think violated his oath to faithfully execute the laws of the land????.....

I'm not bugging out if I still have the capacity to thrust a bayonet through the throat of someone trying to take my freedom away.

I didn't carry a rifle for this nation for 20 years, only to stack arms at the end of my life.

My thoughts exactly. When the time comes, when they come for folks, you only need to get one bad guy (any more is frosting). There’s more of us than them, they’ll run out of bodies or balls first...

do you support impeachment and removal of this president, who you seem to think violated his oath to faithfully execute the laws of the land????…..

Impeachment is a political impossibility. Not even the so-called "opposition party" will support it.

History teaches that despotic leaders never leave power via civil means. NEVER.

It wouldn't matter if a Constitutional amendment was drafted and ratified to remove Obama and his regime from power. Those now ruling us have said and acted plainly that the rule of law is whatever they say it is. Holder said that they can ignore the laws they do not like.

So given that reality - how in the blazes does any logical thinking person ask for impeachment of this regime??

Might as well be wishing for snow cones on the surface of the sun.

Exactly what Solzhenitsyn advised what SHOULD have been done when they had the chance.

Will enough of us remember? Or be too starved, impoverished and trod down to resist?

we are getting there, led by an incompetent bOOb

don't think he is a boob at all. He and the people behind him have been is very clever and immensely successful at dismantling this country, it's institutions, and our Constitution in a few short years - including the success at convincing people he is "incompetent" when the results ay he is not. He has thrown the nation into a paralyzing chaos.

I would say he is being very successful.

This is a serious question. How many people do you think would have to be arrested on trumped up BS charges before enough people would revolt?

What really pisses me off is people like Brit Hume, Megyn Kelly and Bill O’Reilly are completely surprised by what obama is doing. They’re supposed to be on top of things but we now know they, like obama, only read what’s on the teleprompter.

Texas and South Carolina might be good choices, for example.

Texas and South Carolina ARE good choices, and have been for some time. I thank the Good Lord every day He lead me to move to SC.

This is one reason I Hate, Loathe, and Despise the Supreme Court centered notion that the Constitution is whatever they say it is.

I think it very-much depends on how public/widespread they are. The government could likely get a lot more people out of the way where they snap people up quietly and quickly than something that is big and loud. Also, the [perceived] frequency of them would alter attitudes: just look at the change of attitude towards the police in the last few years esp. WRT their accidental wrong-address no-knock raids.

I am now calling it “Opening a can of Ukraine” on them. Do we (as a nation) have the guts it takes to do this?

How do we defeat tanks in our streets? How do we defeat Jug Ears air force? How do we defeat our neighbor who is a police officer? Where do we learn?
