I had this very good friend/Co-worker from London. When he visited the States and when he was in Washington DC, we would hang out. Unfortunately, he is a classic anti-American European liberal. Other than that, great fun to be around.
On one trip we spent the entire day on the Mall celebrating the 4th of July. The irony was lost on him since I had to point it out.
During the same trip, he and his wife took the opportunity to rent a car and drive up and down the east coast. After returning from his adventure, I asked him what he thought.
He said “You Americans have no creativeness at all, virtually every city and town is named after a place in England”, I shot back in an instant “We weren’t Americans then”

My same friend from London and I were in CA on business. He had rented a car and I wanted his keys so I could drive around a bit.
I admit that I had been drinking and we engaged in a very public banter about him lending me his rental car. This was actually the first time I meet him. We went back and forth trading jabs until he said that he had a “license” to drive a race car. I said “so what, you need a license to watch TV as well”.

because the constitution, and more specifically the second amendment,was written to ensure the people could fight off a government gone rogue, i state the following obvious thingies to libs, weather they be democrat, republican, communist or social(ist)conservatives..
we, as citizens of the nation, not only have the right, BUT THE DUTY, to possess and maintain any and all arms our fighting units in the military possess..
this includes..
body armor, machine guns, mortars, tanks, artillery, warships and aircraft...
the reason being that if we were ever to come up against government forces attempting to throw us into a dungeon of dispair, we would have the means at our disposal to stop them dead in their tracks...
and for the idiots that are about to state, “what about nuclear weapons?”...
question is, would the government use nuclear weapons upon the citizens that are revolting against them?...
if the answer is yes, then by god, we as citizens have not only the right, but the duty to possess nuclear weapons..
